Speck Balancefolio R Protective Case for Apple iPad 10th Gen (10.9-inch)

Great iPad cover. Much less expensive than Apple’s version.

I had a Speck cover on a previous iPad for ten years. It looks like the dickens now, but it held up. I was happy to see the company still in business. It's easier to hold the 'Pad with the cover on. I'd only dock the cover for being heavy, but that's the trade-off for the protection.

For the most part it works as needed but it seems like the company just didn’t pay attention to details in the design. The multiple notches on the bottom are pretty useless since the angle the iPad sits in doesn’t change dramatically. On that note, the bottom part is split into two plates which makes it very hard to put it up at an angle on the couch or other uneven surfaces. The part where the iPad fits into is also mounted crooked. There’s a loop that fits a stylus but it’s in an awkward location that makes it not very accessible from either the angled position or folded over position. I probably would’ve returned it but I threw away the original box and you need it for returns.

The quality of this case is great. A bit pricy, but very good.

I love the color . The design is functional and it is fairly sturdy. I wish it was A bit sturdier but for the price I think it will work just fine!

It unfortunately is cheaply made. I wish I had paid more to get a better case. The grooves in it don’t work to keep the iPad standing.

Case does not have an auto sleep mode like it says it does. Make sure to turn off tablet before closing case or battery will drain

It is very sturdy and not too bulky.

The camera lens is covered but easily flips down so you can use the camera / video case on it

Got this for my grandmother to use and she loves it. Works perfectly for her needs plus she likes the color and that it’s not too bold or just black.
