Spin Master Games Rubik's Pulse 3x3 Cube

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all love a good challenge and trying to solve a Rubex cube. Admit we all sat down at one point in our lives and tried to solve this little cube. The Rubik's Pulse is a great idea it's fun, love how the squares light up. The only disappointment is it is a bit small, the colour's could be a bit brighter, the timer is too short and the cube is a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rubik's Pulse was an interesting twist on a familiar game. Pulse mode not only makes it difficult as the colours flash on/off, but solving it in less than 60 seconds is very difficult. I appreciate that it has a way to add an additonal 60 seconds, perfect for those who aren't extra skilled in rubiks cube solving. Overall, the product has a bit of a "cheaper" feel to it, as the cube isn't as solid as a traditional one - however if you have a rubik's cube lover in your life, they will love this new way to play!

We havent solved it yet but were having a blast trying to beat the blinking lights timer and remember the pattern - its definitely a challenge but one my daughter is committed to completing! Such an engaging, innovative update to one of our favourite family toys!

I thought it was a lot of fun to play with, and still just as challenging. I will definitely buy this as a gift for others.

As Rubix cube fans, they are always looking for new ways to be challenged and this did just that in a fun and interactive way. We loved racing the time and the light up aspect. This would make an excellent gift for birthday parties or stocking stuffers. Will definitely be buying more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the Rubiks Cube Pulse and its my very first Rubiks Cube! Its so cool because it makes little clicks and lights when I turn it. I thought it would be really easy, but whoa, its actually kind of tricky! I keep twisting it and the colors get all mixed up, and then I have to try to put them back. Sometimes I get one side done and then the other side looks silly again. It makes me feel like a real puzzle master, even if I dont win yet. Its like a game where my brain is racing to figure it out. I like how it feels in my hands, kind of like a fidget toy, but its harder and smarter. I cant solve it yet, but I dont even care because its super fun just trying. Its like a mystery that I want to keep playing with every day. This is my favorite cube ever!

I thought this was definitely not your average Rubik's cube that we have owned before. It is definitely a cube that is challenging to any cuber with the flashing lights and timer to complete your game. I would not recommend it to anyone starting out as it is difficult to grasp the changing lights and timer feature. My daughter is a cuber and she was struggling to stay focused on the lights constantly changing. However she did enjoy a different game and the challenge it provided. Overall it was easy to maneuver, the lights are easy to play with in the light and at night. I would recommend this to anyone interested in upping their Rubik's game.

Very easy to open, easy to set up/get out of demo mode. Works without issue, fun for a novice or an expert.

This cube was a great gift to give him a new challenge. The cube lights up and player has to solve the challenge before the cubes lights go out. He was excited to play with it and my son wanted to try it out too. Its a really cool digitized cube. Very good for the brain. Highly recommend.

The glow gives it such a cool vibe in the dark and honestly it makes me want to pick it up all the time. Its smooth to twist, the colors are bright, and it feels like a mix between a puzzle and a gadget. A fun upgrade if you already love the classic cube.

Well it's definitely not the original cube lol! We love that the colours were bright. The light behind the colours were sufficient to see the differences. The cube was easy to turn but it was not flimsy. The light flashing for 60 seconds and knowing it's going to end at that time, kind of puts you in a weird frame of mind. It's almost like the jack in the box, except that the cubed's not going to explode lol. As you're playing it, it's almost like you're waiting to hear one of those competitive tv show songs in the background. I do like that it lights up. I'm wondering if there's something different you could do instead of flashing lights, perhaps feeling the pulse softly and then closer to the sixty seconds, it gets faster? All in all, it was fun for both my daughter, who is 11 and myself who is much older! I bought this for my son who is an avid speedcuber. He played with this once and will never play with it again. It's not easy to see the colors in daylight. Then, the lights are too bright when played in the dark. The colors are not pronounced enough and they are hard to tell apart. The constant blinking while trying to solve it is very distracting. This is a very poor product from something that comes from Rubik's. I strongly recommend not buying it. It was a complete waste of money.
