It's a very nice shade. Hard to find that size and a nice quality for what you pay. Only complaint -- the inside of the drum is lined with a cool blue-white/gray plasticky material that puts off a flourescent glow when illuminated. Rest of my space has warm colors and warm lights and it sticks out like a sore thumb when the light is turned on. :( Not sure that info was communicated elsewhere so hoping this helps others make an informed decision.
