cute but flimsy, and HOT
This backpack is a step up from flimsy nylon ones, but it still lacks structure for carrying heavier items like a laptop. It’s comfortable enough, but once full it puts a lot of strain on the straps, it looks/feels like they won’t last. The nylon is very soft but, if im wearing a tank, it feels like plastic wrap sticking to my back and makes me SO HOT -- not it for NYC commuting. Some mesh padding would help. The size is also slightly larger than it appears on the models. The design is beautiful and the smaller size is great, but I’d rather pay more for something sturdier and more comfortable. Only recommend if you don’t plan to carry a laptop regularly.

Cute but not very big
Bought as a teacher bag, not as big as I was hoping but nice quality. The water bottle pocket on the side is tiny, I could maybe fit some pens or something in it but definitely not a water bottle. Straps seem kinda flimsy so we'll see if it lasts the whole school year. Nice material though, seems easy to wipe clean.

Sides dont fit water bottles
What are the side pockets for??? You guys they just had to make them a little bigger and would fit water bottles. But it does not. Too deep for phone or other items. What a horrible design.

A little disappointed
I got this to use for work and it is ok but the stitching is already coming apart and I didn’t even use it when I noticed that. I’ve used it twice now and it’s fine but the straps are a bit too long even if you tighten them. Thankfully I only have to carry from my car into the office but I’m not going to overstuff the bag or anything because I’m afraid the straps will rip. I’m honestly thinking of returning it since the stitching is defective.

Almost Perfect
I took this on a trip and it held everything I needed for the long flight. I loved everything about it, but 2 things... I wish the sides pockets were big enough for a water bottle and I would have loved it to have a 2 zipper closure. It was hard to close if it was stuffed and being able to pull 2 zippers up on a backpack makes that much easier. I loved the weight of it and the style is so cute.

Great bag, fashionable and comfortable.
A good sized backpack with plenty of space for everything you could need to carry to school or work. This has a laptop pocket, a zipper pocket, and two open pockets inside as well as the main compartment. Outside has two side pouches that seem a bit awkward size wise to carry anything, and two pockets on the front, one open and one with a zipper. Straps aren’t tight, and the bag doesn’t get too heavy when filled. Personally I got this bag because I needed a pocket for my large ipad and/or laptop between places. As well as my large water bottle and a couple other things, which all fit perfectly!

I normally don’t write reviews, but I was thoroughly impressed by this bag. The canvas is very thick and sturdy, and could be waxed if you wanted to make it waterproof. There’s lots of pockets inside and on the front. The side pockets are not big enough for water bottles though. That’s not a deal breaker for me, but it might be for someone else.

This bag is versatile, attractive, sturdy, and spacious. I was looking for a backpack with structure even when it’s empty, and attractive enough to substitute a handbag, and this backpack fit the criteria. As others mentioned, the side pockets aren’t so functional, and I wish there were too zipper pulls instead of one on the main compartment.
