Down Alternative Pillow Insert Medium/Firm - Parachute for Target

I want to start by saying this is not a firm pillow, but that doesn't mean it isn't amazing. I bought it initially for my son and his new bed and when I would read with him at night, I thought, "Wow!" thats a nice pillow. I had always bought a specific brand from BBB for about $75 before they closed and haven't been able to find a replacement. That said, all of my pillows needed to be replaced and I ended up replacing all 4 on my bed with these. They are more inline with a medium firmness of a pillow. I am a side/stomache sleeper and I can't get over how much I love these. Get them before they are gone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this pillow because it said medium/firm and because it said for side sleepers but this pillow is very soft. For me at least is very soft, my head sinks into the pillow and I become surrounded by a pillow which isn't bad if you want a soft pillow but I prefer medium pillows that have a good amount of softness but that are firm. I could not get comfortable with this pillow because I would just sink into it and the pillow's cover is loud if you move around you can hear it cracking which wakes me up because it's loud since my ear is on it. For my firm pillow lovers, this is not a good pillow. I didn't give it less than three stars because this is still a very good pillow It doesn't work for me to sleep but taking this pillow on long road trips has been a dream since, it's light, soft, and it's very cooling. This is a perfect travel pillow for me. The shape retention is amazing, it puffs back up and looks brand new which I love.

I'm a side sleeper so I need lots of extra support, but I hate foam and extra firm pillows. It's often a challenge for me to find a pillow that works and lasts. They often go flat too quickly and I end up replacing them every 6 months or so. While I've only been able to use this one for a couple of weeks so far, I don't see any signs of the down alternative losing its structure. The pillow also has great breathability, which keeps it nice and cool. I think this is an excellent pillow for the price and will certainly buy a couple more to replace the others in my bed.

Pillow size is 20x26, with filling weight 27oz.. It feels like it is down filled. The pillow was comfortable to lay on, and no stiff neck after using. The only drawback made in USA but with imported materials.

Firm enough to provide neck support but also you can fold this thing if you like extra height. Also nice and cool!

Love this pillow and already noticed how much better I'm sleepijng at night. It sinks down in the middle like the perfect hotel pillow. Definitly a nice change from the really firm inexpensive pillows I was using. 10/10 recommend

Most important takeaway: look elsewhere. This Parachute/Target pillow is very low quality. The markup on this thing must be about 500%; no exaggeration. There is zero loft to this pillow. It barely has any internal stuffing at all!! Your head immediately sinks down to your bed as there is no support. No amount of fluffing or time in the dryer can rehab this dreadful wimpy little pillow. It was returned immediately.
