The Casper Medium Essential Cooling Hybrid Pillow - Standard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pillow was a little bit too firm for my liking, but it was my fiancé’s absolute dream. This pillow became the top pillow in the rotation and is by far the favorite one that we have. My fiancé is a very warm sleeper so the cooling aspects. Help him stay chilly throughout the night. I love the king size as we have a king size bed, and the look with king-size pillows makes it look very cohesive together.

At first he was used to feather down, so it took some acclimating for the pillow to mold properly and feel as comfortable, but now it’s providing great head and neck support while also keeping his head cool through the night.

The minute I lay my head on the pillow and feel the coolness of the pillow I’m instantly comfortable. I love how my head “sinks” into the pillow. I don’t have to flip it to the other side to feel the coolness because this pillow is cool all the time. It’s literally so comfortable.

Its longer than a standard pillow and mean to last. My only regret is that I don't have a set of them.

I have been sleeping better since I started using this pillow. I fall asleep faster because of the cooling effects. I just put a pillow case over the pillow and it’s ready to use right out of the box. I’d recommend to others after I’ve been sleeping better since I started using this pillow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try a cooling pillow as a hot sleeper. I hate waking up in the middle of the night sweating. This pillow definitely delivered. You can feel it’s cool to the touch straight out of box. Even with a pillow case I still felt the cooling effect throughout the night. The pillow comes with a good quality machine washable cover. It also has a heavy duty zipper that looks like it would be durable. The only issue I had with it was it was a little too flat for me. I think this would be better suited for a back sleeper. I sleep on my side and I need a little more height and support in my pillows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially wary to try this pillow because it had an odor when I first removed it from the sealed plastic wrapping. I washed the pillow cover on cold delicate and hung it to dry, and that totally took removed the odor. The cooling effect still worked great after washing. (I wanted to mention that because I always worry stuff like that will wash out.) I am a side sleeper, prone to neck pain, and also tend to get too hot when I sleep. This pillow does a great job supporting my neck without being too hard. I like how it has a little bit of squishiness to fit into that spot between my neck and shoulder. When I wake up hot in the middle of the night, I flip the pillow over to the other side to restart the cooling effect. If you are a side sleeper in need of neck support and don't like a pillow that's overly firm, this is a great choice. The cooling effect continues to work after washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a good pillow if you sleep I. Your back. It’s to firm for me as a stomach sleep. I like the firmness and the way it keep cool. After 4 days of use, I had to go back to my less firmer pillow for comfort.

I’ve been using Casper Classic pillows for several years with no complaints; even taking them with me when away from home. They are beautifully made with very nice materials and sturdy zippers. I wouldn’t expect such nice quality at such a reasonable price so they are an excellent value if you’re looking for a comfortable feel and a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately for me this pillow is different in one way. The temperature stays nice and cool, and it’s got a nice breath ability which is wonderful. But, the support it gives is too firm for my liking. I woke up multiple times each night having to reposition myself to avoid a stiff neck. My husband on the other hand loves it and is very comfortable. So if you like a more firm, supportive, pillow definitely give this Casper Essential Cooling Pillow a try.

Love that it has 2 cases to keep the pillow clean and dust mite free. I did not notice any odors or off gassing. Feels cool to the touch. My husband always complains of being too hot at night so this pillow is perfect for him.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a great fit for me, it's thinner than your normal king pillow and too thin as I'm a side sleeper. I will say, the cooling feature is incredible. Obviously, it feels cooler in a thinner pillowcase but the cover does unzip and is washable so I guess you could use it without a pillowcase if you really needed to. It was packaged in a vacuum sealed bag and rolled up in a box for shipment but quickly expanded to full size once opened. Maybe I can get some pillow stuffing and make it thicker? Not sure yet, but my daughter will love it in her bed.

I am a small woman and it's not stiff on my neck like some similar pillows. It is also very comfortable to side sleep with. It does stay noticeably cool and fresh feeling as well, and I also like that it has a removable cover to wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical of this pillow since it’s a “cooling” pillow which usually don’t work for me. I run very warm and nothing seems to help. But this pillow was so comfy I instantly fell asleep and didn’t wake up 10-20 times tossing and turning, folding my pillow over on itself to get comfy. This thing is great. My wife wants one now. Feels like it’s well made and sturdy but soft as foam. Would definitely buy again
