Q: Can I use this for hot coffee?

A: You can use for coffee but I wouldn't advise it with the straw though (even though that works too😉). I use the 1 I have for coffee.
submitted byLADada48 - 12 days agoA: yes, when you remove the straw you can pivot the lid to the hot liquid opening. I have used my Stanley exclusively for coffee and love the way you can completely disassemble the lid for cleaning: no mold possible!

I love this size, I only wish that the handle was a little bigger. The Christmas design is cute and not so Christmas-y that you wouldn't want to use it year round. One thing that annoys me about Stanley is their lack of rubber on the bottom. I end up purchasing stick on bottoms that work reasonably well.
