Q: Is the Elphie cup the same this year as last only with a hat instead of monkeys? 😐
A: It honestly looks that way. I thought the same
submitted byJm2010 - 26 days agoA: It is green with a second green coat that at a certain angle turns purple
submitted byMatt - 21 days agoA: No! It has way more seeable purple pinkish/ green hues and has the flying monkeys on the bottom! Plus the hat where the monkey was on the first drop!
submitted byMar - 26 days agoA: No, the cup itself coloer shifts, and has a smoke like coloring. Also, the monkey is on the bottom back of the tumbler. Also the lid has glitter in it.
submitted byTJ - 19 days agoA: It's not exactly the same cup, it more dark and has more black and purple tints. It also has the hat and not just the monkeys. However, you aren't wrong it is really similar which is disapointing. :(
submitted bypheebsluvsjesus - 23 days agoA: I don't agree. It looks more black than green over the last one.
submitted byKikiCoops - 25 days agoA: monkeys are at the bottom of cup so both this time around and its darker

Q: Can this be used for hot coffee?
A: I use it for hot coffee everyday
submitted byNina - 22 days agoA: I mean technically you could, it is possibly, but it is HIGHLY not reccommended because hot liquids can damage the plastic straw and lid.
submitted bypheebsluvsjesus - 23 days agoA: Yes. Just make sure to NOT drink hot coffee from the straw. It can scald. You can twist the spinner piece at the top and you can sip from it. I would use the 20 oz for hot drinks.
submitted byHeidi - 23 days agoA: No you can not sorry
submitted by12345678910 - 1 month agoA: Stanley cups are designed to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for extended periods of time. Simply remove the straw and turn the straw clasp horizontal to reveal a sipper hole intended for hot sipping. A lot of people don’t use Stanley for hot drinks so they forget but it’s definitely an option.

Q: Is it blue or black?
A: Black and green.......
submitted byKikiCoops - 25 days agoA: It’s black with green holographic sparkles. It shines green when you turn it a certain way.
submitted byRue - 22 days agoA: The elphie cup is more black this time with more hints of purple than green. :)
submitted bypheebsluvsjesus - 23 days agoA: Black, green and purple

Q: Do you get advanced access if you’re a target 360 member
A: I thought the same but it doesn't look like it :(
submitted byKikiCoops - 25 days agoA: No. Same as everyone else.
submitted byKrantz - 22 days agoA: They're not supposed to. Target employees are supposed to wait until customers have first dibs on them the morning of their release or they can lose their jobs. I'm sure it happens though.

Q: Does it come with the reusable straw?
A: Yes. Highlights tells all about it.
submitted byGram - 1 month agoA: yes they all usually do and it shows pics with straws
submitted bymami - 1 month agoA: mine did not come with a straw!
submitted byMama - 19 days ago
Q: Does the cup come with a box?
A: Mine came in a box but it was shipped. It was a box inside a bag. The box was enough to protect the cup through transit but it's nothing special as it was basic brown with the upc sticker at the bottom. Better than the cardboard stretchy mesh they used last year. (30oz had box)
submitted byMatt - 18 days agoA: No it does not. The charm and toppers do.

Q: To get the cup at my local store, do I need to be at the store or will they take order pick ups online when they drop at 2am?
A: Hey hey! I don't believe you can do pick up, but I'm not sure. If you want a better chance, you may want to be at the store or order online. These cups go FAST and some are determined to get one XD
submitted bypheebsluvsjesus - 23 days agoA: I was successful in doing an order pickup that first day. It all depends on your store's stock.

Q: Should I get the Glinda blue For Good one? is it worth the money and everything?
A: It's just a Stanley Cup. If you want these "limited edition" ones and you like the way it looks then go for it otherwise save your money. There are 30oz and 20oz options for less money.

Q: CAN YOU PRE ORDER ONE ON LINE FOR GIFT?
A: No pre orders; you have to be available at 3am EST on October 26th and order one before they sell out or be at your local Target store before it opens to then rush to the display area and get one.
