    So much fun

    Our toddler loves this product and hasn't stopped playing with it. It was fairly easy to assemble and has a lot of options for play. One thing I found strange is the drill comes with 2 bits that don't lock in (not sure if they are sized wrong or that was the design) they look like they should pop in but they are too big so you have to hold them on while you're getting your screws in place. Everything else was wonderful

    Great product, instructions lacking

    We bought the Big Builders Pro Workshop for our grandson and it’s a big hit. Well designed and comes with a number of tools & features. Would have given this product 5 stars were it not for very poor instructions that made assembly very challenging. Tried You Tube videos and there was nothing there that helped. We got thru it and our grandson absolutely loves his Big Builders Pro Workshop!

    Wouldnt spend my money on it again.

    Big dislike on the fact that the black pieces that are supposed to hold the screws doesn’t even fit in the whole!!! IT DOES NOT CLIP IN LIKE THE ORANGE PIECES!

    Tool bench

    There are no pilot holes for any of the screws so an electric screwdriver for drill is handy, but not necessary

    Sturdy and durable.

    My 4 yr old grandson just loves it. The directions are pretty vague with dark pictures but we managed to get it put together. It is very sturdy and durable so it will last a few years compared to others we have bought.

    Excited at first, now disappointed

    We bought this as a Christmas gift for our tinkering/building-loving daughter and we were so excited for her to begin playing. Overall it’s a good size and comes with some neat ideas. However, execution is absolutely poor. The sprayer bottle that is stated to help you “paint” the bird house never worked. Contact customer service and did receive a new one, again not working. I contacted them again and they stated it’s not meant to actually work because it’s just an accessory. I would rather it not be included if it doesn’t actually do what it’s intended to do. I inquired in chat about this and was given this answer and then immediately was told they have to end the chat and disconnected from me. I knew the items that were included with the product, but for the price it seems there does need to be a bit more. I have always loved Step2 products, but this one has let us down.

    Pro builders workshop

    This is so fun! I bought it for my daycare and all the kids love it, ages 1-7. Their favorite thing is being able to “paint” the birdhouse.

    Okay Workbench

    We got this workbench for our almost 3 yr old. He loves the battery operated drill but there is nothing to drill the screws into. There is a place in the bench but they technically don’t stay in place they just pop right out. I wish there was nails or something to do with the hammer because he has nothing to do with it. I do like the birdhouse but I wish there was instructions on which side was the painting side. I feel like the instructions were pretty decent up till the point were it never told you where any of the stickers went. That was kind of a guessing game. I was also disappointed with the stock pictures because it shows A LOT more wood pieces then what we got, that isn’t fair.

    Excellent product

    Very sturdy! Comes with a lot of realistic looking tools and two that make noise like the real ones. My daughter LOVES this because she can work with her tools like mama, dada, and grandpa. When we’re doing a project she grabs her tools to “help” also.

    The most disappointing gift!

    I have made many Steps purchases for my 4 children over the years however this one was surely disappointing to myself and my 4 year old son. He was so excited when he opened this workbench Christmas morning. That excitement quickly dwindled when he realized as I did that the tools were merely a decoration. There is literally nothing he can do with them. I will need to purchase something separate at a store for him to be able to use the tools.

    Step 2 big builders pro workshop

    The directions to put this together are not very good. Feels a bit flimsy. Too many ‘painting’ accessories (paint can, brushes rollers) and not enough ‘builders’ tools.

    Amazing Product

    Bought this for our almost 3 year old son for Christmas. He loves it and has been playing with it for hours. He loves painting the birdhouse and using the table saw. So Happy we purchased this!!!!

    Need a power drill

    You need a power drill to assemble this. It cant't be done with a screwdriver. It's worth it. Myh grandson loved it.
