Sterilite Heavy Duty Easy to Assemble Plastic Storage Unit

Well made, a fair price and reasonably easy to assemble.

The shelves are a terrific product. However I have a suggestion - Could Sterilite make available for sale separate packets of top caps and bottom feet, so that people could buy them to separate a unit into 2 shorter shelving units for when they do not have the right height space for the taller units, but have a wide space to put 2 shorter units?

These shelving units are excellent for storing. We use them in our basement for all our extra stuff that we do not need every day like Christmas decor, extra blankets, winter/summer clothes and we use them for storing our stock of personal care items and food items. Easy to put together and very sturdy. Highly recommend.

it's so easy to setup and use. Easy to breakdown and move. The plastic material holds a lot and I find it easy to clean.

I have two of the shelves and with the use of other sterlite storage containers I’m able to store all my seasonal decorations easy to use

I am a scrapbooker, and have 20 years worth of albums stored on this shelving unit. My albums are not light, so I was skeptical about putting them on here. But after 3 years there is no warping or buckling to any of the shelves. It was easy to set up and I am so impressed with the sturdiness of this shelving unit.

When we bought our new house we finally got the garage we always wanted, but with that came the challenge of organization. Sterilite shelving to the rescue! With the use of this study 5 shelf system and some amazing Sterilite storage bins are garage is organized but we still have plenty of room to park the cars. Works well in my garage for holding supplies, car parts, tools, cleaning products, etc. They also fit well on some of the shelves that I have in my garage. I would buy more of them if I needed them.

I love this shelving unit. I have used it and used it for a variety of things, in different closets. Right now, it is in my closet holding folded clothes including jeans on 1 shelf, 2 storage bins on the bottom (because they fit there) and boots in shoe boxes stacked on the top. It's washable, easily moveable and is really amazing. Also, you can split it, to make two shorter storage areas and use part of it for shoesI The other part I have used in a utility closet, but changed my mind and put it back together for my closet. I love Sterilite and use their products for many things in my small space. Lifesaver!

Iv got about 6 of these in my basement we used for storage and we are extremely happy with them. They are so strong we probably actually have way more weight on it and it’s fine. We also have some in our kitchen for storage of dry goods lots of heavy cans and my husband has three or four in the garage to keep tools and stuff on we even have several in our storage unit to keep things nice and tidy! Love them!!

I've been in the military for 21 years. In those years we've moved 12 times. With every new duty station you can never tell what kind of house or apartment you'll be moving into next. What started out as a single space saving shelf unit has become a collection of 10 five shelf unit Sterilite storage shelves to store our camping gear, fishing gear, shooting gear, luggage, home-brewing gear etc. In the attic, in the garage and in the basement this shelves are problem solvers. Also worth mentioning: in all those moves the shelves have survived all but the worst movers abuse. Now that I've realized that Sterilite makes matching totes (yeah... I was a bit slow to realize that) we can continue to improve how we organize our stuff. So, bottom line: these are tough, stable, can support heavy weight and (my favorite) made in America.

The new color is dark, ugly, and depressing. We always buy Sterilite products, and I would like to get several of these 5 shelf units for our finished basement but I can't stand the new dark color. The previous Platinum color was perfect (between gray and tan). So I'm looking for another company that makes similar products. Any suggestions?

We needed a new, sturdy shelving unit in our pantry area and after looking at cheaper versions we went with the Sterilite because we just didn't want to take a chance that the quality would be sub-par. I'm glad we spent a little more to get this unit, it's very sturdy, easy to assemble and will last for many years. As always, you pay for what you get!
