I’ve put together a number of the shelving units over the years and this is the most impossible one. The poles barely fit, I don’t feel like it is very sturdy. Because it doesn’t fit correctly.

I wish I had read the reviews. This is just trash, I had to return it. I used a mallet like the directions say and I tried for 20 minutes to get it together. The peices will not stay put and just come apart, I guess if you use some kind of strong glue it might work but this is 100% a waste of money.

Not sure why this has so many bad reviews, I think it was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough for what I plan on using it for! Thinking of buying another one before the sale ends!

I wanted some shelves for my art studio, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I also didn't want to spend a lot of time making shelving. These are perfect! They assemble in minutes (you need to use a rubber mallet) and hold my supplies and glass sculpture pieces. They are remarkably sturdy, but I would stay within the weight limits (I believe the description says they hold up to 70 lbs. per shelf). If you need to store heavy items, go with metal or sturdy wood shelves, but for smaller and lighter items like for my use, these are perfect and well worth the money.

It’s hard to put together it falls apart too quickly by the time you try to put the 2nd shelve. Terrible measuring perhaps. Going back to return this tomorrow.

Product review entitled: Bad Product, Don't Buy Not to be melodramatic, but my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. I thought I was buying another set of Sterilite shelves. Oh, what a hapless fool I was. Problem 1: Fragile. The first one I picked up was broken in the store and I should've taken it as a sign from above to give up then. Alas, I have suffered for my hubis. Problem 2: Frustrating Assembly. Sterilite shelves just fit together like a good product. This one requires a mallet. I do not own a mallet. I got it together but it's unstable, a problem which may have been avoided had I know that putting together plastic shelves could require tools (but it shouldn't, my dearest Sterilite is a better product and requires no extraneous camping equipment). I have them stacked as two separate 1 level shelves and placed only lightweight things on top, so they haven't fallen apart (yet), but I do not trust them, nor would I ever attempt to put another level up let alone assemble the full thing. Problem 3: Smaller Surface Area. *sigh of sadness* Problem 4: Impossible to Move Once Assembled. Do not attempt to pick up, do not attempt to shift across on carpet, these shelves want to fall apart and disappoint you (and more tragically, me). Oh Target knock-off, how thou hast wronged me. How I wish I had never mistaken you for the source of all goodness in plastic shelves. To quote the poet, "How much sad did you think I had, did you think I had in me? Oh, the tragedy."

Broken in multiple places

I really liked the price but unfortunately this time is terrible. Neither my partner or I could get this thing assembled. When I thought I was getting there, it would all (literally) just fall apart. I tried many different ways of getting the legs to stay in their slots and they absolutely would not so its getting returned.

Love it very sturdy and perfect size to fit a small space.

Even with rubber mallet can’t put together. Have put other similar shelves together without any trouble. Returning this tomorrow

These shelves are poorly made and start leaning and popping apart. I’d like to return them, if possible

After opening the box one of the shelve was cracked, the shelf collapsed not able to bear weight. Don’t buy it.

Wish I had read the reviews before I bought it

Easy to assemble. Went together with a rubber mallet in minutes. Very sturdy. Great buy for the price.

Collapsed within two weeks. Almost hit my cat. Didn’t use it for anything heavy. Left with broken items and a huge mess.

Easy to open and put together, very sturdy and fits in small areas.
