Q: Will my bf dialysis machine be too heavy to sit on the top. He says it’s about 30 pounds? I seen this one at target and it seemed pretty reliable .. pretty thick plastic.

  • A: 30 lbs is WAY too heavy to stack on top of this unit. The top is flimsy and could warp or crack. That much weight will also cause the casters to fail.

  • A: 1/31/18: Confirm drawers are very easy to open and close. Cabinet is made sturdy enough to accept substantial cotton weight. Great for linens, towels, clothes and lady's tennis shoes. Not recommended for paper products such as magazines, booklets, records, etc.

Offer "SHIPPING", restock every Target store in NYC

This review is not about these plastic drawers but more a review on Target as a corporation. I have been keeping tabs on these drawers for months to see when the "shipping" option would be available for it so that I could place my order online. That day never came. On September 22nd (last week) I went ahead and placed a "Delivery" order for 4 of these drawers and that order was cancelled the next day by Target due to "Inventory unavailable". How a company lets you place an order for items that aren't in stock is beyond me (although after speaking to one of the store managers, I now know the answer to that, but that came later). Anyways, I tried again on September 23rd ordering 2 drawers (website said "only 2 left"). Same outcome as up above, order was cancelled by Target. Over the course of a week, I've called and spoke to associates (anyone that works there that would actually pick up the phone and that includes HR) that work at both the Target Bronx Terminal store and the Throggs Neck store. I've also reached out to Sterilite themselves and asked if I can just buy 4 units from them and they informed me that they don't sell to consumers. The drawers are ALWAYS either low in stock or completely out of stock at ALL target stores in New York City and the number that you may see available on the website is usually not an acurate number ESPECIALLY if it's a low number (i.e. "only 3 left" may really mean "out of stock") and that was explained to me by a helpful store manager that I managed to get on the phone. Calling the main Target customer service phone number is a bust because that call gets rerouted halfway across the World and they can't do much of anything on their end. That's why I'm leaving this review here. Hopefully someone from the Target Corporate headquarters or whoever is in charge of the target website sees this and informs the higher ups (that's IF they don't already know and just don't care) that all of their stores in the NYC area are completely sold out of this item and it's been that way for MONTHS.

DISAPPOINTED

I LOVE THE LARGE DRAWERS BUT THEY ARE NOT CLOSING. IT CAME ALREADY PUT TOGETHER BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT THE WHEELS ON BY PUSHING THEM DOWN. IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD WITH THE DRAWERS STICKING OUT SO I'M GOING TO CONTACT TARGET. I

I believe that the product in question is a very high-quality plastic resin type and is sure to fit storage needs because not only is the product durable, but it is also economical and a great finish to a home office. The drawers are easy to open, but the color scene is sterile. It is not a generic dresser or cart but rather a clean, sterile, and futuristic option.
