Q: There are two different sets of dimensions published for this desk. Which is the correct set? I have a space that can accomodate the 24" depth, but not 26 " depth. Please advise.

Q: Where is the lead and pthalates if this is solid wood?

A: Dear customer, Thank you for inquiring about our Simpli Home Dylan Desk. We would like to inform you that the stain applied on this item while manufacturing process contains formaldehyde or lead content. In manufacturing of this item we made sure that this item does follow Stats of California guidelines, and will not expose you to any chemicals, and therefore safe to use. Please be informed that the reason why it will not expose you to chemicals is the quantity of the lead content in the stain used. As per the State of California guidelines the lead content cannot exceed 90 ppm (0.009% by weight), what we make sure to follow while manufacturing the item. This low presence of chemicals used is not harmful and safe to use. Please feel free to write us if further information about this product is needed. Thanks again

Cheap
This is more dark brown than light brown. Not true to color. Wood was marred in two spots. Screws stripped because holes weren’t fully drilled. Trying to return but not finding it very customer service forward.

Pretty good
Great size, pretty easy to put together, and is pretty sturdy as well. My only complaints are that I ordered the gray color and it’s more of a cool tone brown and the picture online shows it as being a matte, smooth surface but it’s really kind of shiny and shows the ridges of the wood (and my clothes have gotten a few snags from it not being sanded down completely in a few spots). I am going to keep it because it’s still a good looking desk, good quality, and I don’t feel like taking it apart. If I could, I’d give it 3.5 stars.

Great simple desk!
This is suck a great desk! Real wood. Sturdy. Keyboard tray is great to have. So glad I upgraded my cheap desk. The assembly was very easy. The time spent on the assembly part is really just tightening the bolts with the Allen wrench. The desk is packaged really well and arrived in perfect condition.

I work from home so I was looking for a few things in my desk: sturdy, real wood, large surface area and clean lines. This desk checked all of the boxes plus some. Very glad I made this purchase.
