A: There isn't a certain weight requirement for the stand for the umbrella, however this umbrella is meant to be put through a table with the umbrella stand underneath as well. The diameter of the pole is 1.5 inches.

We had the umbrella tilted for a few hours. It was not very windy at all. The pole compltely bent in half right under the connection point to the top portion. The disconnect button gouged the metal next to it making it unuseable as well. You cannot see that in the picture.

I like the navy stripe pattern but would not have purchased had I known the material would be shiny and plastic-like. It looks far lower-quality in peson but it's too much of a hassle to return since my husband already set it up. Was hoping for more of a canvas/cotton look.

Very thin fabric, I paid double what I normally do to get an umbrella that would not fade in one year…. Not sure about fading but fabric is so thin the sun comes thru.

I had to reach out to company to send another one - which they did, as the one that came with the shipping was damaged (bent). Got our replacement one, and within a week it was bent again. Just the slightest wind and the pole leaned on table and bent it. The umbrella is actually really good, but the adapter/pole that attaches to base is actually really really weak.

I loved the initial color but it definitely faded in the Georgia sun. It has held up pretty well overall. I have purchased two and one will no longer stay upright. It is within the year of purchase so I may be able to apply the warranty. Overall, a good purchase.
