Missing a security tamper proof
All SWANSON brand, 11 bottles that I just received do not have a security tamper proof. Inside has a lip cover which can be easily tampered with. Please add a security tamper proof to the bottles as before.

This is a wonderful supplement that really helps strengthen hair and nails! I have a lot of inflammation in my body which causes my fingernails to be brittle! This helps them and also calcium that I take from the Swanson vitamins collection!

Sustained-release Ghost Tablets are Normal
I believe these do work for increasing my metabolism and strengthening nails but I am wondering if someone can answer this question. Does the following apply to time-release supplements as well as medications? .. Finding a pill in the stool is entirely normal for long acting medications. In a recent study, over half of the people taking a long acting form of medication for diabetes reported seeing ghost tablets in the stool. Extended-release products work like a little pump as they pass through the GI tract, slowly releasing the medication contained inside the tablet shell over a certain time period. The outer shell is then expelled upon defecation.

Easy to take, well-manufactured small tablet.
As a genuine old person, I have begun to have weaker nails that break off jaggedly during everyday activity. This product has the potential to help with that. This is my first purchase so, too early to tell, but Swanson products are excellent quality so I'm optimistic!

Better Than Other Biotin Products
After trying several other biotin products (both from Swanson and other companies), I decided to give this one a try because I liked the idea of it being time released. It's small enough and easy to swallow and I did notice a difference in both hair and nail growth.

Doesn't Break Down After 24 Hours in Water
Since the tablet doesn't break down in water after 24 hours I don't believe that it is absorbable and therefore it is useless.

Biotin improves Skin and hair.
After purchasing a "Drug Store' and a 'Food chain Brand' brand of Biotin, and getting no results, I decided to give 'Swanson's Ultra Time Released Biotin a try. Success! Not only am I very happy with the results, but also amazed that Swanson's Biotin was one third the cost. Thank you Swanson.

This is an amazing product for your hair skin and nails. I recommend this to all of my clients because I am a hair stylist and I know from experience the benefits of taking this regularly. Even if you take it twice a day I have seen it work most effectively then. If you take it too late it might give you energy or could have trouble sleeping but I take mine at breakfast and lunch with food.

Started taking this a month ago. Several of my nails were cracked. Today my nails are fine.
