Made me feel hot, and gave me some indigestion. I also turned red or flush.

I don't know if this actually helps blood flow, but you do notice it if you don't eat a full tummy meal. You will notice and be uncomfortable for awhile if you don't eat enough when you take it. I will give it more time before I decide to continue or not.

I use it for my cleanse. It keeps my mouth from burning up :)

Love this Cayenne! I take it for my heart health. I tried the Super Cayenne but came back to this one as I seemed to get better results. I take three with every meal. Excellent herb for many many things.

Works well just make sure either before or during eat something because that burn in either your chest or stomach is wicked.

Like many of these common herbal remedies, this simply had no effect on me after taking it for a month. I have a "cast iron stomach" and I normally eat a lot of very spicy foods without difficulty. However, I always feel a slight burning in my stomach after taking this cayenne, with OR without food. So those with tender tummies, beware!

Some other cayenne supplements are mixed with soy lecithin, which I guessing is used as a heat buffer for the much hotter 100,000HU, or 'heat unit' in the cayenne; but these pills are far less hotter, at 40,000HU, so I'm guessing that it is not necessary for most people. Now don't get me wrong, if even the lesser heat cayenne dissolves in your mouth or the rest of your G.I. tract, you might be aware of it; especially if you don't handle spicy foods well. If you are someone who wants the benefits of cayenne, but cannot handle the heat; I would consider taking the cayenne pill with something like fruit juice and some food that is gentle on your stomach. If you took this cayenne product at the suggested dose routinely, you would have a 100-150 day supply. If you only took 1 pill a day, you would be reaching for almost a year out of this one bottle at 300 days. Overall, I am happy with this affordable cayenne, and how much you get for the money. If you want cayenne that has few ingredients and no soy as far as I can tell, then here is an option for you.

First, the review by 'kames' stating that an expired product had been received was probably because the label was mis-read... Swanson prints the date of manufacture, not the expiration date, on the label. I love cayenne in all of its forms! For many years, I have kept shakers of cayenne in my vehicles, and they go with me into restaurants. At home, I use cayenne on eggs, potatoes, chicken, almost anything. I love it! Some people are surprised that I don't put it on ice cream! I have only recently begun taking the capsules for heart and overall benefit. But let me tell you, the difference has been obvious: More energy, better skin, overall a better sense of good health.

Seem to get upset or quezy stomach when I take this. Will continue to experiment to see if there is an interaction with other supplements.

This form is a good way to take cayenne. Taken in the morning with breakfast, there is no problem with digestion. I have been taking cayenne for well over 25 years.

Bought this based on a reccomendation from a friend. Am still figuring out when the best time of day is to take it, and right now afternoons is it- before working out in the evening. Will increase my dosage with time, but right now I'm only taking one a day. Take heed, if you dont drink enough water with this, you might feel the burn

You really need to take these after eating a meal or else it truly will burn you. I have had this happen and it is kind of scary! I have been taking cayenne for at least 5 years now - and this is a quality product at a great price.
