The final 5” of each handle is to provide a comfortable grip that keeps your bar securely in place. The bars diameter is 27 mm across the inner 58.5” bar; and 2 handles with 30 mm diameter extend from the bar. The handles are finish with 5” of grip. The bars max capacity is 750lbs.

The Synergee Safety Squat Bar adds stability and comfort to your squat workouts! The padding adds comfort for your neck and shoulders, the cambered position allows for a more upright squat that places less pressure on your lower back. This bar will target your glutes and quads and allow for a greater range of motion and more gains!
Our Safety Squat Bar is steel with a black phosphate coating from end to end. The bar is fitted with handles to combat limitations of shoulder mobility. The handles are 15” total: 5 inches of grip in a 30mm Diameter Handle. The handles are spaced 11 inches apart. At either end, the sleeves of the bar provide 13” of loadable length. In total, the bar is 87” long. The bars max capacity is 750lbs.
From Back Squats, to Front Squats; Zercher Squats to Good Mornings; Split Squats and Lunges; this bar can provide a great workout and an opportunity to improve your form and strength.

The quality of the bar feels solid, looks sleek, and is pretty easy to use, although it takes a little getting used to if you've never used a SSB. Shipping could be faster, but would still recommend this to anyone dealing with any pain in the upper body associated with squatting. You won't regret your order.

Excellent customer service. The bar is very comfortable on the shoulders. The knurling on the handles feels good on the hands. The spacing between the handles is just right.

Package arrived very beaten up so the bar had some scratches on it but nothing major. For future shipments of this bar, consider including plastic bands around the box. Tape doesn't seem to protect it enough. Now as for the bar, I bought the bar because of a tight shoulder restricting back squats and this has been perfect replacement for that. If you are a short, petite woman like myself, you should be aware that the handles are a bit wide on the shoulders but this has not caused any problems squatting with this bar. It's really helped force me to stay fairly upright when squatting and I notice more core activation with this bar than I did with my Games bar. I also liked the fact that this bar weighs less than other SSB options out there. I wish fitness companies would recognize that there's a market opportunity for lighter SSBs. I couldn't get a good look at the padding on the protective sleeves but the cover appears to be stitched well and you can remove this. At first I thought this would be temporary replacement until my shoulder mobility improves but now I plan to use it indefinitely for accessory work. If you can get this bar, buy it, it's worth it.

due to a shoulder issue I was unable to do squats with a regular barbell. This bar is a lifesafer, no issue at all. So much more stable than a barbell. Incredible product!!

I received my squat bar and the box was NOT in very good condition. I don't know if that was a warehouse issue or delivery service issue. My bar was had knicks and scratches but otherwise functioned well. I could have replace it but my son just wanted to start squating . So i opted for the discount they offered me instead of returning it. There customer service was quick to resolve the issue and the bar was made very well.
