It’s beautiful but the blue is more aqua than gray blue -which it looked gray blue to me in the photo. Unfortunately looks weird with my paint which is a gray blue that I thought it would pick up nicely with. Have to return but love this 40’s sparrow style.

I am super pleased with the quality of the set for the price (approx $100ish for Queen set)! I was nervous ordering online and this is not your average "bed in a bag" set most of the box stores sell. Although it's not a true "bed in a bag" set because it did not come with sheets, I was able to use on of my existing sets of sheets. Reading some of the reviews, yes the base color is not as "white" as it appears in most of the photos online and is more "tan." I put this in my guest room along with my grandmother's vintage flowers, bird drawings, quilling art along with her jewelry boxes and "trinkets" all from the mid 40's-early 50's. The bedding set made the entire room come together and my guests appreciate the formal, beautiful step back in time!

Beautiful pattern and look
I feel that this set has a very high-end look to it. The material is slightly reminiscent of a burlap (feel and look). The pattern is very elegant. The only thing I don't like would be that I don't feel it is long enough and my boyfriend and I often end up playing tug of war over the ends to cover us up. Other than that - love it!

This bedding is beautiful and cozy! The comforter took two tumbles in the dryer, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! It is super fluffy! The pillows aren't printed as they appear in the pictures, they are sewn-on, beautiful detail work. I've never ironed bedding, but I wish I could iron these, I think the comforter and shams would be prettier if I did. Main color is pale blue-green.

Buyer Beware
BUYER BEWARE! I purchased this beautiful comforter and absolutely love it and want to put it on the bed. All 7 pieces come beautifully folded in a plastic bag. The care instructions are not on the front of the bag, instead it says to see sewn in label on content. It's hard to believe, the instructions are DO NOT IRON. It recommends washing and drying, but not ironing. It's totally wrinkled from being packed in a bag. I'm afraid to do anything to do because if I damage it I'm afraid I will not be able to return it. It's going back.
