I purchased the base from the same company, Tankgula as the 10FT cantilever umbrella, to ensure the best base was purchased to fit. Unfortunately, it’s not able to set up in a manner that would genuinely hold the umbrella as the base and hole and metal clips that came with it do not match the holes on the umbrella. That’s quite disappointing, as the base shift with movement. I was hoping for a good hold, as the wind was moving the umbrella as we set it up for the first time. Now I have to return once I receive a new one I ordered on a different site hoping the holes match up from a different company. I have yo leave this in the meantime or else my umbrella will fall and break…:( Other than that I’m sure it will do the job for another type of umbrella base.
