This is definately a strong scent and can take you bt surprise when you open it. I like it personally. The stronger the better. I use this when sick and for my kiddo who is 11. I think it work wonders for your chest colds and congestion. I poured this in running water and closed the door. When I opened the door, the entire bathroom smelled like Vick Vapor rub. It lasted the entire bathtub. The price is much better than other name brand companies and you get more for your money.

Formula has changed
I’ve bought up & up eucalyptus and spearmint epsom salt for years and am very disappointed with the formula change. It now has an overpowering patchouli scent and does not smell like eucalyptus or mint anymore!

End of an Era of Relaxing Eucalyptus Baths
FYI for anyone who liked the old Up&Up Eucalyptus epsom salt, they changed the formula when they changed the packaging, and now it smells like 100% spearmint and I can’t detect any eucalyptus at all. I don’t like being negative on reviews, and I was ready to accept if it was somewhat different, but the ratio of spearmint to eucalyptus scent is now 1:0. Really disappointed, confused why they did this at all, and wish I hadn’t bought a few bags thinking it would be anything even remotely close to the old scent.

The new smell is bad
I was on Defense because it was a new packaging. Still, it had the same label, so I assumed it would be the same product, period. The latest product smells foul, and it's not the same standard as the other one. I also found my bath time is not as relaxing as it was. Prior, not only is it a different scent, but for some reason, the salt also seems to be a different quality.I hesitated because the product had new packaging but seemed to have the same label. I assumed it would be the same as before. However, the latest product smells unpleasant and doesn't meet the same quality standard as the previous one. Additionally, my bath time is not as enjoyable as it used to be. The scent is different, and for some reason, the salt appears to be of lower quality.
