The Targus 15.6" EcoSmart ® Zero Waste Backpack delivers practical laptop protection while helping to protect the environment. This patent-pending pack utilizes recycled materials in all elements of the product, even its packaging, and uses it to create the bag's standup silhouette. Thoughtfully designed to help reduce waste, the bag's external packaging is flattened into a rectangle and then slipped into a pocket along the back panel, and reused as structural support and added laptop protection. With GRS-certified recycled materials made from 20 plastic bottles, this bag is good from the inside out. Built to fit 15.6" laptops, this EcoSmart bag features three compartments: a dedicated, foam-padded laptop cradle to safeguard your tech, a front stash pocket, and a workstation for smaller accessories. Its smart design also features ventilated shoulder straps and 2 exterior water bottle pockets. With a spacious 21L capacity, integrated yoke handle, and hard-looped zipper pulls, this bag combines function and comfort in an eco-friendly way that helps support the planet and your workday.

Great value
My wife needed a backpack for her laptop because she takes it everywhere. She really likes this one so far. Plus it's recycled and pretty affordable, as far as nice laptop bags go. Well made and practical.

And it has plenty of room for my cord, mouse, and files. I love that it has pockets for my water bottle. And a smaller pocket for other items. It's light and durable. Such a great laptop bag.

Zero Waste Backpack

Pretty Spacious!

I will say the feel is a little weird, I'm used to more cloth feeling backpacks but the sheer surface really seems to help if it gets a little moist. The material is pretty thick too I feel comfortable being a little rough with it.

I was skeptical of the thinness of the straps but the width actually makes it very comfortable for her (she's very small). It has just the right amount of pockets and great design

Perfect size and quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got back from a 2 week trip to Italy and carried this backpack with me while traveling. It was the perfect size - it held my electronics, sweater, travel pillow, and everything i could have possibly needed. At first glance I thought it might be small but no! It fits so much. I really appreciate the dedicated laptop pocket and all of the exterior pockets for easy access. Of course most of all I appreciate that this is a zero waste bag and feels of the utmost highest quality.

It is light weight and has ample room inside. The shoulder straps are easily adjusted and comfortable to wear. I like that there are pouches on both side for a water bottle. The material is sturdy and I was easily able to wash off wash off a stain.

Lightweight and spacious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is so lightweight you could fold it up in a small purse! It is actually very spacious and great quality despite being so light. It even has a padded laptop space and nice extra zippered spots. My husband is using this as his new backpack and loves that the bag itself doesn't add extra weight. Looks very nice as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed that this backpack arrived in 100% reusable Eco friendly packaging made of recycled materials ! It’s a black 15-16" Zero Waste EcoSmart Backpack and the backpack itself is sturdy , well made and also made of mostly recycled materials! It gives you directions right on the clear outside packaging of the backpack how to fold at the packaging up and place it inside the backpack so that you can slide a laptop inside. It’s also very comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps are comfortably padded. When I need to wash this , I just take a wet washcloth to it.

My only critique is that it was hard to set up with putting the box into the back of it to be sustainable. I think the instructions could be clearer on how to set up the backpack.

Best backpack EVER!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this bag! I was honestly unsure when I first saw it. I was not crazy about the texture and I was unsure about the straps since they are not padded. I have some ISS used with my back so the straps where my biggest concern however I was super impressed by how comfortable they are and how they fit and how well they hold up. I am in a bachelor program for psychology so even with my laptop and all my books and things it still pretty light. The material is pretty great too it just wipes clean. Even my teenage daughter asked for a bag like this!!

I’ve been using it to carry my work laptop as well as other items I need for the day and the multiple pockets are really useful to keep things organized. The bag itself is lightweight.
