Love It
We have loved Tasty Bite Sauteed Eggplant & Tomato for years -- under it's former name Punjab Eggplant. Same great product! It's packed with flavor, has just enough heat to be interesting, and has a delightfully smooth texture. For us, this is the perfect accompaniment for butter chicken or chicken tikka masala, but leftovers are great on rice the next day for a vegetarian lunch.

A great meal
I really haven't just loved all the Tasty Bite sauces that I've tasted. Eggplant and tomato are both delicious and healthy. Love the fact that I can easily just put into micro wave for 60 sec and it's ready. I usually put it over the Quinoa Rice/Seeds of Chance which makes a great quick meal.

Not my favorite among many choices.
I like most of Tasty Bite offers but the Sauteed Eggplant and Tomatoes are my least favorite. They taste a bit bitter and and have an excess of tomato taste.

MUST SAY GREAT PURCHASE. HAS THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF HEAT. JUST CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF THIS FLAVOR. DID NOT UPSET MY STOMACH. BLEND WITH RICE. MUST SAY USALLY I HATE PKG RICE BUT THIS ONE IS GOOD IN TASTE. CAN I JUST WOW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL EXPLOSION ON MY PALLET. I CAN NOT WAIT TO TRY THE OTHER ITEMS I PURCHASED. overarching flavor did not make the meal enjoyable
this left an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. It is hard to explain but I think it Hass to do with when you pack things the need to last with longevity I don’t know if it is the additives that must be added, etc. A lot of prepacked foods tend to have this overarching flavor that to me is unpleasant. I have not experienced that with the lentils. I haven’t tried the spicy lentils, but I imagine they’re similar to the ones that aren’t spicy. I had to throw the eggplant ones away, unfortunately which was a disappointment because I was looking forward to it.
