I grew up with TastyKakes and LOVED them. Now, they are so much smaller, they taste different, and have less frosting. That was the best part! I read a book in my class and it had a part about Butterscotch Krimpets. I wanted them to enjoy those beloved snacks. I had second graders whose fingers were longer than the cakes! It wasn’t that was for me as a teen! My class as well as my family were very let down and disappointed. Please go back to the original recipe and size! Now I’m afraid to try my favorite, KandyKakes.

I recently bought the butterscotch krimpets. I was very disappointed. They are much smaller, and the cake tasted doughy, almost gummy like it wasn’t baked fully. This is a shame because they used to be one of my favorite snack cakes.

I just bought a pack of krimpets and it will be the last one that I ever buy. They are horrendous compared to the originals. I was looking forward to sharing one with my grandson, but I will now throw the entire package into the garbage

I have been eating tastykakes for over 55 years... a few times a week... so have my 4 brothers. When I was overseas with the military I used to have them shipped to me to share with my fellow warriors. Today, I purchased a pack of the butterscotch krimpets and they were ridiculously tiny.... they were shorter, thinner, and less thick. The reduced amount of icing wasn't a big deal for me, but for others I'm sure it is. The icing however was a weird consistency- oily and kind of bubbly ... if it's a cost thing just raise the price... don't change it. This rightsizing or whatever it's called needs to stop.... don't worry about my health ... that's my job. I think I'm done with tastykake... shame, so fond of them

I'm so disappointed in the products these days. They are all so oily nowadays. The taste is the same as it used to be. They hardly taste is butterscotch anymore. It's a shame they went in this direction

I'm an old Philly Boy... and I can't express my disappointment with what you have done to an old Philly Icon.... The Krimpets are only about 2/3 the original size, and the icing is different...Not even a butterscotch taste...

My parents would get these as treats for us when we were kids. I saw them and bought them for my kids. I was so excited. My daughter tried hers when she got home from school and said, "they're good but they don't taste like butterscotch". I had mine after dinner last night and was sooooo disappointed, my daughter was right, they don't taste like butterscotch at all. They've changed so much since I was a kid. Sad. Cake was moist though

Nothing of tastykake is the same. You must think we are stupid and can’t tell all recipes have been changed. The trumpets are absolutely disgusting. The peanut butter candy cakes taste nothing like they did. And so on. All to save a buck you charge enough for this and this is what you give us. Today’s version is nothing like the original Butterscotch Krimpets which were actually delicious. Took a bite today and I was so disappointed; the fluffy cake I remember from my youth has been replaced with a dry, dense textured brick; the frosting has no flavor and is overly sweet. Tastycake ruined a favorite.
