Q: Why is Taylor voice sounding like a man when I played the record? It is like monster voice. All of the other my records are working like Bon Jovi and Eddie Rabbit.

A: This record plays at a faster speed of 45 rpm, there should be a switch or a button to change the speed of the player. If you can’t find the switch, consult the owners manual

A: Vinyl releases are always the regular (explicit) version. Clean versions are not pressed.

Great album, awful packaging for delivery. This album was placed into a large box alongside another vinyl with no packing materials. The albums hit each other and the outside of the box, massively bending the paper sleeve on both records.

beautiful pressing and of course, goes perfectly with the album. I saw a lot of reviews saying "a man was singing" and just wanted to tell anyone reading this that there was nothing wrong with the record! You have to play it at 45rpm, not 33rpm like usual!

I don’t know if I got a defected vinyl, as others have commented similar- but this sounds like a man. Not Taylor at all, no matter how you tune it on your record player, it’s awful. Bummer because it’s my favorite album.

Love Taylor, hate this vinyls quality
I love Taylor and have started to collect all her vinyls. This is the second time I’ve bought the Red album from Target and both times the vinyls sound hideous! The first time it was slightly warped so I thought it was just that so I bought another and the same thing happened. I’ve tried these on two different players with the same outcome. I’ll have to return them and try to find the Red album from a different distributor, Taylor’s voice sounds warped and muddled. I’ve bought all the rest of her albums from Target with no issue, it seems to be just Red.

Amazing record!
Amazing album, worth the $50 bucks for the two-hour-long experience! Definitely recommend. However, the record player must be at 45 speed (33 the standard speed). I give the product five stars, but it came terribly shipped; I ordered 3 different records simultaneously. I’m lucky this record came unscathed. Be careful with shipping!

If it sounds like a man, it is not defective !
If it sounds like a man, it means you have to set your record player to 45 RPM. Majority of vinyl records play at the default setting of 33 RPM so that explains why testing other records sounds fine. This vinyl is an exception and it is played at 45 RPM. The packaging doesn't make this clear enough so beginners often get confused. Hopefully this stops people returning records that are perfectly fine.
