A: Vinyl releases are always the regular (explicit) version. Clean versions are not pressed.

Q: Why is Taylor voice sounding like a man when I played the record? It is like monster voice. All of the other my records are working like Bon Jovi and Eddie Rabbit.

A: This record plays at a faster speed of 45 rpm, there should be a switch or a button to change the speed of the player. If you can’t find the switch, consult the owners manual

If it sounds like a man, it means you have to set your record player to 45 RPM. Majority of vinyl records play at the default setting of 33 RPM so that explains why testing other records sounds fine. This vinyl is an exception and it is played at 45 RPM. The packaging doesn't make this clear enough so beginners often get confused. Hopefully this stops people returning records that are perfectly fine.

When I first put it on the record player it sounded like a man. I told my husband and he changed the speed on my record player and now it's perfect. If you're having the problem of it sounding like a man- change the speed on the player to 45

I don’t have an issue with the vinyl, I have an issue with the way Target shipped it. There was protection for it at all during shipping, no cardboard mailer was used and the vinyl arrived in a plastic shipping bag. The outer sleeve of the vinyl has all sorts of creases and some of the inner sleeves are bent. I’m utterly disappointed by the lack of protection and care provided from Target for an item that is rarely in stock and sells out quickly. Do better Target.

If you, like me, are fairly new to the vinyl collecting scene, then let me help you! Please don’t listen to the reviews below - this vinyl is definitely NOT a misprint nor defective. As it says in the listing and on T. Swift’s website, this particular album was pressed at 45rpm as opposed to 33 (the standard for most full length albums). So if you are playing it mistakenly (like me) at the standard 33 speed, then yes, the singer’s lovely voice will sound warped. You’ll have to adjust the speed to 45 (most newer record players have speed settings) and it’ll sound normal. Don’t let the reviews below deter you from purchasing this amazing album!

Beware, some are misprints and play slow on normal speed. You’ll have to play it faster for it to sound normal. Other than that, it’s fine and sounds amazing. It’s probably more of a hassle if you have a player that can’t control speed.
