this book was a waste of $ and will be returning it. Yikes, it’s bad.

Not what I was expecting I’m extremely disappointed

Aesthetically beautiful and in my opinion--far better than the "authentic" Eras Tour book. The gold page ends really make this a great coffee table book!

Sarah Chapelle is LEGENDARY. I have been following her blog since it's establishment in 2011. Her attention to detail in her book has SPARKS FLYing all over the pages. Even the book's edges send you into an enchanting GOLD RUSH. It truly is the most beautiful book on my book shelf at the moment. As someone who's been following Taylor's style for years, thanks to Sarah, this book feels like a memory lane into how my own style has evolved with my favorite artist and my role model. Thank you so much Sarah for making this work of art I will forever love :) Any Swiftie, old or new, would absolutely LOVE this book.

Author wants to force her narrative that Taylor isn’t straight. Profiting off her name, but speaking ill of her. Gross.

I have been following Taylor Swift Style for years now! Sarah has been following Taylor's style choices for years & has great insights into why she wears things that's perfect for any swiftie you know. The book has beautiful pictures and commentary from Sarah who is not only a fan but a wonderful commentator on TS Style.

Over 300 pages of a perfectly written synopsis on the world of Taylor Swift’s style. Not only in depth dive into her clothes, but connecting it back to her music and life at the time was so beautifully done. This will be one I read over and over again and I’m hopefully there will be additional versions of it.

This book takes very creative liberties with how the author thinks Taylor Swift may have picked items or chosen style. Author takes an unprofessional approach by describing and justifying Swift’s eating disorder. There is a Taylor shaped hole in the author’s ethics here. This is written by a super fan who looked up Swift’s old outfits; there is no author who has directly worked with Swift.

Beautifully written and love the choices for outfits throughout the book

The author is snarky and by no means an expert. She makes it seem like she knows why Taylor wears certain things yet has never even met her. Taylor would not approve. There are many other books to buy about Taylor that are professional and positive.

I'd strongly encourage anyone considering this book to read reviews written by people who actually read the book. They're easy to discern by the appreciation for nuance, complex thought, and well written prose. The remainder you can chuck into the toxic wastebin that was driven here by a weird social media witchhunt. This book is for the discerning fan who cares about analytical, well researched deep dives into a complex artist's musical and sartorial choices. This book is also for people who are looking for a beautifully packaged fashion book for their coffee table. If you want a fluffy shallow book that doesn't offer anything of substance this is not that.

Easily one of the most well written, thoughtful pieces of work I’ve read in a long time!

This book is so well written and highly detailed describing Taylor’s style through the eras. This would be a great gift for any fan of Taylor. Sarah helps us see Taylor through her eyes, many of the outfits I have seen before but Sarah helps connect them to Taylor’s style and even some Easter eggs. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it!

such a disappointment . Book supposed to be about fashion, but instead you get snarky and disrespectful remarks about Taylor , her eating disorder and speculations about her private life

Sarah gets far too much hate as an avid swiftie. No one is immune to criticism, not even Taylor Swift. For years and years Sarah has been working hard to document every outfit Taylor wears, finding the outfits and communicating with Taylor Nation to find out more as well. It’s sad people won’t let her actually critique Taylor’s fashion, something fashion writers are regularly doing for many celebrities.

I thought this was going to be just a pretty coffee table book, but it was sort of like a mean-girl gossip column. The commentary is far more negative and petty than constructive (or even informed by someone who knows anything about fashion). So much of online hate thrown at Taylor Swift is why I'm not on social media much anymore, I don't need a whole book that fosters that same sort of negativity. I'll wait for the Eras Book by Taylor to come out and spend my money there.

I thought this book was going to highlight the evolution of Taylor’s style through her change of designers and fashion trends, look at my surprise when I get a book full of speculation and baseless theories + snark commentary about how she used to looked like a “disgruntled toddler in too-small clothes on picture day” and how creating theories about her ED (which she hasn’t talked since 2021 and ONLY talked about it then) which I don’t think is appropriate to talk as in a non-official book that are supposed to be about clothes

Beautiful book with tons of photos and explanations by a longtime, knowledgeable fan. Great gift for any Taylor Swift fans (especially those who enjoy fashion). :)

This book is incredible and perfect for any swiftie! The author took so much time and detail going era by era showcasing Taylor's iconic looks. I love that she shared her own kind criticism and thoughts and also nuggets of Taylor history. I'm a huge swiftie and there's been things that I've learned that I've never known about or forgotten to time. Beautifully written and a perfect coffee table book! Do yourself a favor and pick this up for yourself or your favorite swiftie
