Love love love
Purchased the art chef pan. I was already using the bbq plate. Both beautiful super easy to clean and much more durable than the older none stick pans that always ended up flaking.

Dishwasher safe for real
Run it through the dishwasher weekly for eight months. Coating and color unchanged. Handles haven't loosened. Very reliable.

Feeds six people easily
Five-quart capacity means I cook pasta sauce for six in one batch. Tall sides prevent splatter. Replaced my skillet and saucepan.

Great for daily use
Owned this pan for quite a few years now and we use it at least once a day. I have bought a second so we have one in reserve. A great thing for regular use.

Outlasted three cheap pans
Cycled through three budget pans in two years. This one has outlasted them all combined and still performs perfectly. Buy this.

Beats pricier sets I've seen
Expected average performance. Found a pan that cooks more evenly than expensive sets I've seen at friends' homes. Very happy.

Cooking brilliant care vague
The nonstick and heat distribution are both outstanding. Pan sauces reduce beautifully and eggs release without any effort. My main issue is the care instructions could be clearer in the packaging. I wasn't sure at first whether high heat was safe with this coating. Once I found that medium heat is optimal the results improved further. A small informational improvement on the package would help new buyers avoid potential misuse right out of the box.

Looks stunning on my range
The color is darker and richer than photos show. Gets compliments from guests. Cooking performance absolutely matches the look.

Pan sauces reduce faster
Wide flat base maximizes surface area for reduction. Sauces concentrate quickly. The nonstick makes deglazing completely effortless.

Done in four minutes flat
No hot spots, no uneven browning, no stuck edges. Thin walls heat fast while thick base holds steady. The perfect morning pan.

Near perfect one honest note
Performance is excellent across every dimension I care about â€" even heat distribution, outstanding nonstick release, and a snug-fitting glass lid that does real work during braising and simmering. I've been cooking with this pan for nearly a year and the coating shows no signs of degradation. The sloped sides are ideal for stir-frying and the flat base gives excellent contact for searing. My one honest note is the weight when the pan is full of liquid. A five-quart braise gets heavy to maneuver safely, particularly when draining or transferring to a serving vessel. This is probably a non-issue for most home cooks who have good grip or simply carry carefully. It doesn't diminish the cooking experience at all â€" just something worth knowing before you buy.

Good pan for careful cooks
The nonstick works well when treated correctly â€" silicone utensils only and hand wash when possible. I made the mistake of using a metal spoon once and left a faint scratch near the center. Performance around that area has slightly reduced since. The coating is clearly high quality but not indestructible. Heat distribution remains excellent and cleanup is still fast everywhere else. For careful cooks this is a great choice; if you use metal tools aggressively it may not survive long.

Braises and sears both shine
I use this pan for two very different purposes â€" a quick weeknight sear on high heat and slow weekend braises at low-medium. The pan handles both without compromise. The thick base prevents scorching during long braises and the nonstick surface means nothing sticks during high-heat searing. The PFOA-free coating gives me confidence cooking acidic dishes. At this price I expected to compromise somewhere. I haven't found a single weakness in six months of diverse use.

Two years still going strong
Sear fish, simmer sauce, poach eggs â€" one pan. Glass lid fits snugly. After two years of daily use the nonstick is still intact.

Lid included is great
Most pans skip the lid at this price. The tempered glass cover fits perfectly and has a steam vent. Braising became so much easier.

Wow! so versatile, I love it but..
Wow, I did not expect this color to look exactly like the Kerrigan StarCraft 2 theme in person, a metallic deep reddish purplish pink. Online it says the bottom is 8.8 inches, though the raised heat plate is 7.6 inches. The cooking area is 8.2 inches, so it works like an eleven inch fry pan, or a 9.5 inch three quart saute or deep frying pan with three inches of height, with the capacity of a five quart pot. Pros: the shape is versatile, so it works as a pot, and I cooked taro shrimp mung bean rice cake batter in it, about 2.5 quarts, before steaming. It also works as an eleven inch fry pan, where I fried taro cake with duck eggs, garlic, purple pearl onion, sweet radish, and spring onion, and as a stir fry wok for fresh wide noodles with onion sprouts, geoduck, shiitake, and mini pak choi. The nonstick wastes fewer ingredients than my Ninja stainless pot. The lid has burp holes. The cooking surface is flat, since oil stays in the middle rather than running to the side. The handle feels heavy duty, stays cool, and is short enough not to take up space in storage. Good quality overall. Cons: the rim is sharp enough that it nearly cut my finger, and the nonstick had already come away on arrival, probably from that edge. There is no pour lip, so gravy from a stir fry runs down the side and onto the stove, which is messier than my Ninja stainless pot. Nothing is perfect. The actual capacity is not five quarts either, more like three at most, or 2.5 to avoid overflow when stirring and boiling. I wish the base were nine inches for my radiant burner, though the 7.6 inch heat plate will do, with the slanted sides running hotter. I will update as I try more dishes.

Great for one pot/pan meals!
So far so good. I wanted one versatile pan and this is perfect for cooking for the two of us. It can boil, fry, pan sear, and steam. I have made sauces, chowders, porridge, pasta, stir fries, omelettes, pan seared fish and chicken, and reheated things while crisping the bottom. The coating is so slick that oil and water splatter at higher heat, so be ready for that. The heat also is not distributed evenly, which you can see clearly when boiling water, since a ring of bubbles forms before the whole surface goes. Neither issue affects my cooking much, and when pan searing I set the protein off center to get even heat.

Even heat on ceramic top
Ceramic electric stoves are notoriously uneven. This pan compensates with its thick base. Every inch of the surface gets full heat.
