Q: Do you need a box spring with the mattress? How many inches thick is the Casper Original Mattress?

  • A: Our Original Mattress is 11". We do not recommend using a traditional box spring as this does not provide the necessary support for your Casper mattress. If you have a platform bed frame with, no foundation is required. If you do not have a platform bed, we suggest using our foundation or one like it that provides slats no more than 4" apart.

Q: Is the King size mattress somewhat foldable? Where I would be able to unpackage it in our downstairs family room and then be able to get it up the stairway into my bedroom after it has had time to air out?

Dimensions of the Upholstered Bed Frame will be dependent on the size you are looking for, we have them available in Full, Queen and King sizes.

    Highly recommend

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new mattress due to starting sciatica and plantar fasciitis issues. One of my friends suggested Casper because she was so happy with her purchase. I looked into reviews and compared prices of other mattresses and decided to try it out. So happy I did! 2 years later and it's still the best sleep ever. No more pain. No more tossing and turning. Highly recommend this bed.

    Amazing Foundation

    Extremely sturdy and good value for the price. Had on older foundation for a smaller bed for 6 years and it still looks new and holds up. Highly recommend to anyone needing a good and strong foundation for their bed.

    Comfortable support

    My son has a Casper that I sleep in when I visit. It impressed me so much that I had to have my own! It supports my back and hips so well without creating pressure on them. I’m very happy and I’m sleeping so much better now!

    Dollar for Dollar

    We reviewed several mattresses from multiple review sites. We finally subscribed to Consumer Reports and their evaluation confirmed everything we had thought. The One is the best memory foam mattress for the money. Its edges have decent support. The motion transfer is minimal. We’re both side sleepers and we love it. The sides have enough support to not roll when you near the edge

    Luxurious heaven made bed

    I really love this bed. By far this is the best bed I have ever bought. I highly recommend this bed to everyone. I really work hard to earn my living. I work as a server and I deserve to get a restful nights of sleep. I love the cooling effect this bed has.

    I like this mattress

    I really like The Original Casper matress, I am a light weight side sleeper. It seems to have the right amount of firmness for me. I am amazed that I have no back pain with since I started sleeping on it, My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lack of edge support and bounce back when turning from side to side.

    Looks and feels very nice and comfortable and high quality

    Unboxing was easy and simple, mattress expanded quickly, let it sit for 24 hours on the bed to air out, the next day we slept on it, and it was very comfortable I would highly recommend this mattress.
