Description
Book Synopsis
Written by a former senior executive officer with the CIA, this is an in-depth look at what separates ineffectual figureheads from visionary commanders. With strength of character comes strength of leadership. This universal truth sits at the core of The Character of a Leader. By analyzing the historical impact of principled leaders, it showcases how their unwavering commitment has inspired greatness, influenced nations, and fostered trust among their followers. Drawing on decades of experience in intelligence work, the book presents a blueprint for developing a leadership style rooted in competence, initiative and ethical decision-making, proving that true power lies not in authority--which is granted by others--but in cultivating the strength of one's character. With thought-provoking questions and timeless real-world examples, The Character of a Leader can empower anyone to make a lasting impact as leaders in their communities, workplaces, and beyond.Review Quotes
