About the Author
Jessica Borushok, PhD, is a psychologist in private practice specializing in anxiety and chronic health conditions in adults. She received her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis in behavioral medicine from Bowling Green State University. She trained in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, chronic pain clinics, primary care, group practice, long-term acute care, nursing homes, and weight loss programs, before starting her private practice. Jessica is a peer-reviewed ACT trainer. She is an award-winning author and the coauthor of three ACT books and one card deck. In addition to training mental health professionals, Jessica teaches ACT to the public through her YouTube channel, The ACT Therapist. Jessica lives in the states with her husband and adorable pup.
