About the Book
Senior members of the Delorean Owners Club compile a fond tribute to an iconic marque. Included in this book are recollections from some of the hardworking and dedicated people who engineered and built the car.Book Synopsis
This book offers a concise account of the creation of the DeLorean sports car, and a brief history on how, despite its short life, the car has come to be regarded as one of the most iconic vehicles of all time. Following its vaunted creation, dramatic ending, and starring role in the blockbuster Back to the Future trilogy, the car broke into the wider public consciousness. This book explains how its entrepreneurial creator, John Zachary DeLorean, was able to guide this almost impossible project to come to fruition, while at the same time being the cause of its almost inevitable failure. Included are recollections from some of the people who engineered and built the car, and rare images taken during the design and building of the car.About the Author
