About the Book
Fatma Haron scrutinizes the impact of social remittances on the transnational identification process between new Tyrol and new Turkey.Book Synopsis
In post-migrant societies, belonging, identity and transnationality go far beyond inclusion and exclusion. Intersecting elements behind circulating conflicts and political narratives shape »the good, bad and challenging migrant«. Fatma Haron scrutinizes the impact of social remittances on the transnational identification process between new Tyrol and new Turkey. The empirical data is gathered through ethnographic fieldwork and semi structured narrative interviews analyzing the social, political, and cultural influence on identification processes between Turkey and Tyrol.About the Author
