Florencia Ramirez is the author of The Kitchen Activist and Eat Less Water, named a Top 100 Indie Book by Kirkus Reviews. A storyteller at heart and researcher by training, she weaves lived experience, science, and hope to show how the kitchen can be a powerful tool for change. Her work has been featured on NPR, KTLA, CBS, and KCRW's Good Food. She is the founder of the Kitchen Activist Collective and the Pesticide Free Soil Project, and recipient of the Environmental Hero Award and the Gift of Freedom Award in Creative Nonfiction.
