Book Synopsis
Explore the diverse and ancient wisdom of cultures from around the world and learn about the mysteries of 41 sacred symbols in The Power of Symbols workbook! Elevate your meditation practice as you bring each illustration to life with your own colors. Transcending time and the distinctions of individual faiths and cultural boundaries, The Power of Symbols invites you to awaken the long-hidden symbols and archetypes that are stored within our collective unconscious, embrace the wisdom of our shared human experience and the unity of all living things, and access a deep connection with yourself and humanity as a whole. Embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, knowledge, and enlightenment today! This book is organized in three parts:- Part 1: Explore the sacredness of symbols and how they connect us to each other, to nature, and to the divine. Learn how to use the power of symbols in your everyday life, such as for visualization or meditation, in your profession, or just for fun!
- Part 2: Study the 41 main symbols included in this book, complete with in-depth cultural descriptions of the symbols, their core meanings, and the unique messages associated with each. Examples include Zen Buddhism's enso, the Christian cross, the Egyptian ankh, and alchemy's ouroboros.
- Part 3: Meditate on and color the 41 full-page, black-and-white illustrations created by the author. Use colored pencils, markers, pens, or even paint--whatever art medium you'd like! Jot down any notes or feelings that arise in the empty journal pages alongside each illustration.
