Book Synopsis
The study guide companion to the #1 New York Times bestseller and upcoming major motion picture The Shack is a helpful resource to those who seek healing and recovery from life's most painful experiences. Trauma and loss are unfortunately universal, and finding answers to the question of pain and suffering challenges everyone. The Shack Study Guide includes excerpts from The Shack with questions for reflection and instructions to lead readers through a healing process. The goal, like the theme of The Shack, is to usher readers into the loving presence of the triune God, where together with Him, they will confront their deepest pain and experience a real, lasting healing.About the Author
Wm. Paul Young was born a Canadian and raised among a Stone Age tribe by his missionary parents in the highlands of former New Guinea. He suffered great loss as a child and young adult and now enjoys the "wastefulness of grace" with his family in the Pacific Northwest. He is also the author of The Shack, Cross Roads, and Eve. Brad Robison is a psychiatrist and family therapist who for several years has been using The Shack as a resource in helping his patients on their healing journey through loss, trauma, and pain. He wrote The Shack Study Guide to assist people on that journey and it is being used in reading and study groups, family counseling, trauma and addiction recovery groups, and by professional counselors and pastors. He resides in Cape Girardeau, MO.Dimensions (Overall): 9.0 Inches (H) x 6.0 Inches (W) x .5 Inches (D)
