About the Author

Max Mariola developed a love for cooking as a child watching those around him--his mother Fiorella, father Mario, aunt Olga, and grandmother Linda. His professional journey began in the kitchens of Italian restaurants, and after years of dedication and culinary courses, he appeared on TV, becoming one of the most popular chefs on Gambero Rosso Channel.

Mariola has served as Executive Chef and Quality Supervisor for major hotel chains in Italy and Europe and works as a consultant chef for leading Italian food companies. He also oversees the kitchens of Agata e Romeo, Park Royal Hotel, and Simposium in Cartoceto. Today, Mariola shares his culinary expertise with millions of followers on social media, cooking from his iconic terrace kitchen with the help of Camera Woman and his son Mario, his official taste tester.
