This book in the beginning was a little to get into. But as many books you keep reading hoping it gets better, and this one is that!! By the time I was halfway I couldn’t put the book down. A very clean book with a great way to make you live as if you were in the 1920’s, full of mystery, suspense and get this there are a few love stories in this book. It’s a book where you read different points of view on characters and their story. It goes back in time and present time in their time frame. I couldn’t foresee or predict any of the things that were happening in the book. I loved the twists and turns. The flow of the book was very easy to read and understand. I definitely recommend this book. No intimate scenes that were descriptive, there is a mention of pro$titues but nothing goes into a descriptive narrative. Also there is a mention of a ‘curandera’ but no magic or spells whatsoever. And there is a part where it is mentioned that one of the characters is gay but there’s nothing descriptive of it either.
