The decision to attend a funeral in a town she's never heard of throws her safe world into disarray, exposing the holes in her life. As she deals with the fallout, Christie moves into a rundown cottage she's inherited and there, makes a discovery.

What Christie uncovers will change her life forever.

Review Quotes
The tension never lets up from page one until the end. It holds your attention in a way that doesn't let you relax enough to put it down until you know all the answers to Christie's questions. The quality of the writing is such that you are able to work things out right along with her and sometimes a bit before her. Blue Cat Review
Enthralling, gripping, more turns than a roundabout. A lovely easy read. I started this novel and did not put it down until I finished it. Chill with a Book Awards
Such a beautiful cover, and an engaging story to complement it. I loved the charming coastal setting with the abandoned cottage and little shops run by quirky inhabitants. The story switches between past and present, eventually unraveling the mysterious breakup of two lovers, while setting the stage for a new romance. This is book one of two in the River's End series, but was perfect as a standalone.
The Stationmaster's Cottage was a lovely read from cover to cover. I would not hesitate to recommend this novel to those who appreciate intricate love stories and well woven dual time frame books, in the same vein as Kate Morton's novels.
I also grew up near the beautiful coast of Victoria Australia and loved growing up there. This was a poignant story of a couple kept apart by the well meaning lies of their family and friends. It was well told with the present interspersed with the past. A deeply moving tale with secrets and lies being uncovered by a woman keen on revealing the truth. A good read.
Highly recommend this book to fans of romance, Nicholas Sparks, mystery or just anyone looking for a stunning read. Would love to read more from this highly talented author
There are two love stories in this one two beautiful love stories I might add that will bring you to tears as it did me this debut is beautifully written the characters are rich and engaging and the emotions fly off the pages the setting is amazing and the secrets that are uncovered by Christie will make your heart pound and getting angry with some people. Yes this is a story that I highly recommend so many emotions so much joy in the end the best.
I can't imagine anyone who loves an old-fashioned love story with an undercurrent of suspense, not loving this novel.
A beautiful story of lost love. Heart warming as well as heart breaking this book is a crazy roller-coaster of emotions!!
