I absolutely love this series!! I cannot wait for the 4th book to be released! The enemies to lovers and the constant plot twists made it hard for me to put the book down!

This one is my favorite in the series so far. I liked it even more than Book 2, mostly because we finally get more Medra and Blake and honestly, that’s exactly what I wanted. This book is chaotic. You never get a break. You’re constantly in the thick of it, constantly page-turning, constantly stressed in a “just one more chapter” way. The pacing is fast and super bingeable, and the whole thing feels intense from start to finish. I love Medra even more in this one. She’s still very much herself, but she’s way less of a brat, and I actually found myself really rooting for her. And Blake? Yeah. This book made me even more emotionally attached to him. That poor boy. Truly. I also really loved Reagan in this one. Never in my life did I see that coming. On the other hand… Florence is still exhausting. The constant “woe is me” energy and the weakness drives me up a wall. She’s a lot. Theo and Visha continue to be my favorite side characters. I love them and what they add to the group. This book wrecked me. Full-on heartbreak. I feel completely emotionally destroyed, and I actually sobbed at the end. I need the next book immediately. Briar’s writing truly shines in this book!

Extremely disappointed 😞
This book has been a big disappointment. I loved Blood of a Fae, every single book of that series and the first 2 books of Bloodwing, but this one spoiled the series to me. The main characters we loved became second characters and barely developed, or have participation in this book. It feels like reading a novel about a side character than a continuation of Medra and Blake's history. And gods is Florence is not the most boring character in this entire universe. I skimmed through most of Florence's chapter and they were a lotttt and I didn't missed anything. If this would have been the first book I would have DNF this series.
