Works well for my needs
I like to sit out back on the patio for my morning coffee and quiet time. This device has worked well. The directions say to let it warm up & work for 15 minutes however several mornings I just had it on for 5-7 minutes and it worked ok for the immediate area I sit in.

Ineffective on humidity days
Very expensive and no more effective than the coils. I even wonder if it attracts mosquitoes. Fifteen minutes retreating the area didn't seem to deter the mosquitoes. On high humidity days, it's as if the humidity neutralizes the chemicals and mosquitoes aren't affected. For less expense, I now use mosquito coils which seem more effective.

We bought this hoping it would help with the mosquitos but it DOES NOT. It repels NOTHING! We bought the thermacell along with a box of refills and it was definitely a WASTE OF MONEY! Will NEVER recommend this product to anyone!

This is one my favorite summer products. I am someone who always gets bit by mosquitoes even if everyone else around me doesn’t. Instead of regular small bumps I also have a weird exaggerated reaction to mosquito bites that is absolutely awful, I spent years avoiding going outside at night. This is the absolute best way to avoid being bit and not have to constantly put smelly or oily bug spray on. Finally able to enjoy being on the deck at night!!! It even kept mosquitoes away on our lake trip. 100% worth it if you’re the only always covered in bug bites. I own 3 and always have refills on me. The refills can go quick, but it’s worth the price. My extended family now owns these too just for my sake of not being bit up when visiting. Give this a try!! I’ll be buying more for next summer!

I bought 3 of those last year. We loved them as they allowed us to stay outside without being biten. They were very efficient. Unfortunaly, they all stopped working and won't "click" on.

After purchasing various types of Mosquito repellents, I finally found this Patio Shield from Thermacell . Easy to follow instructions so once I set it up outdoors and wait approximately 15 minutes. The mosquitoes disappeared. I noticed it works better on less windy days. I use it near pool on patio while barbecuing and at the park. It’s worth it!

Stopped turning on
It worked well 3 times for a few hours then stopped turning on. I want my money back. Bug spray, tried and true.
