Doesn’t work like the original
I have been a long time Thermacell supporter, but I have bought four of the 300 series for hunting I have a lot of the others I’ve never had a problem all four of these 300s I cannot keep running. They will fire up for a quarter second and then go out too many times they’ve left me stranded in the south Florida mosquito woods, swatting mosquitoes cussing a brand new thermacell not sure what the difference is. I have used multiple different cartridges for propane to make sure it’s new and fresh with no difference. i’m not buying another 300 series that is for sure.

Pads became worse
I agree with other reviewers that te pads have changed. They turn white after an hour. Not after 4 hours. Please Therrmacell react to this. What has happened? Isn't it a problem that they turn white so soon. Will they still work? Have they changed? What is going on? The refills already cost a fortune and now they work just 1 hour. It is the only device that works! But normally people cannot afford it anymore like this.

It works and is priced appropriately
Decent but not as nice as my 1st generation. The clip would be a nice addition if it actually stayed attached to the thermacell device. Mine falls off all the time. The new case is also kind of cheaply made compared to the old heavier duty one and now only has one pocket instead of two.

MR300 hunt pack
My doctor recommended the thermacel insect repellent to me. I used it while deer hunting in an area with a river, a large creek and many drainage ditches. With all that water it is plagued with mosquitoes. Not a a one landed on me while I used the thermacell.

Small, handy product
This is a small but effective product. I’ve used it twice and both times mosquitoes were present and 20 minutes after turning on they were gone. So small and clips right onto my backyard table. I really like it 👍 I would recommend. I live in Massachusetts

My go to
Thermacell is my go to for outdoors. About a year ago I started to develop an allergic reaction to sprays and deet. Thermacell keeps my outdoors fun in TN where the insects can get maddening during warm weather.

It is effective!
Product is best on market and I don’t have to worry about it giving off a scent. No sprays to scare deer away. Only wish they had a version that could clip on the tree when hunting.

This thermacell, is not even a year old ,and it has quit working I have one of the first generation and it’s still going strong.seems like these new ones are junk. And of course unfortunately I don’t have the receipt anymore. I have recommended thermacell in the past to people but if they keep building junk like this I don’t think I’m going to anymore.

All the models work great on skeeters
My only hope is when you change models year to year that there uniform and the parts interchange in case you loose a piece of it in the woods. They do Rock and have many models. Awesome Repellers

Disappointed
I have absolutely loved all my thermocell products in the past, never had a single issue with them. I recently bought the mr300 and I have had nothing but issues, I can’t get it to stay lit. It will light for 5 seconds at a time and go out. I loved the old style, it would light no matter what. I’m very disappointed in the quality of my new thermocell

Works great!
My son and I were getting eaten alive in the stand. A nearby friend recommended this to me, and it's been great. We warm up the Thermacell while we're walking in and saw the mosquitoes virtually drop to nothing after getting settled in the stand. Love it!

Worked great for ONE SEASON.
I’ve purchased these in the past and have always been extremely impressed. Unfortunately the last two I purchased will not stay lit. They’ve been properly cleaned and maintained - I thought perhaps it could’ve been old butane? So I purchased a new box , still nothing.

I always thought it was great...
This is the second season that I have used my 300. I always swore by it, and recommended it to anyone that asked about it. Those were usually times when we were on our deck, by the fire ring, or while I was on my tractor during the day. However, last week we were eating outside on our deck , and I had my Thermacell running. Suddenly, my wife laughed, and told me that there were two mosquitoes flying within a foot of the unit. I was extremely skeptical, and had to see this myself. I went back to our table, where the Thermacell was hanging from our umbrella, and watched as mosquitoes were flying around and by it like it wasn't even there. I figured maybe it was a weak pad, as I had used this one for an hour or so earlier in the day. No harm, no foul, things happen. Tonight I had taken the unit with me, into my yard, with a fresh fuel cell, and brand new out of the packet, fresh pad. I hung the Thermacell on the side of my tractor , and went back inside for a few minutes, to give it a chance to build it's zone. I went back out, and began working on the tractor, and sure enough I was being eaten alive, and there were mosquitoes flying merely inches away from the unit, that was actually emitting a faint hint of smoke from the pad! I don't know what has happened, but this product no longer works for me. It ignites, heats the blue pads, and is occasionally hot enough to smoke a bit, so it is functioning, but it is most definitely not doing it's job.

Miss the old thermacells
Took this hunting twice in Florida and mosquitoes were landing on the thermacell even while it was on. The new thermacells don’t work like the old ones did. Sad. Would not reccomend buying. This review probably won’t even go up.
