They don’t last very long. You need to swap out the cassette 1-2 times a day. When we were camping, the mosquitoes were everywhere and flying over the Thermacell too, so I didn’t find them very effective.

I have used these in places where mosquitoes and black flies are out in swarms. You can actually see when you enter the “bubble” and the bug count significantly decreases. I have seen bugs literally fly in and then fly out of the affected area doing an instant 180. These are great for camping, fishing, sorting events, sitting in your back yard, you name it.

I really love the refill pack. This refill pack will last me a good month or two worth of relaxing outside. This works great with the original machine and works like a charm. Everything was packaged well and no issues as far as leaking goes.

I'm new to thermacel products and I have to say they are the absolute best. These refils are super easy to use and super effective. I was skepticle on the use time but they do, in fact last a whole 36 hours without loosing any of its effectiveness. It's also super easy to carry in a bag of even your purse.

Thermacell Mosquito Repellant Refills were easy to use. They just slid in. There were three batteries to nine pads. If the original repeller had turned off automatically after so long, I would have liked this product much more. It is flameless, safe for pets and children and keeps fhe mosquitos away for 15' like it says. It is a little hard to start for those with issues on comprehension. Other than that, this product is great. If the issues of starting and turning off are addressed, I would most definetly buy this priduct. I was given a sample for my honest and unbiased opinion.d

I tried these. They are spendy in my opinion. It is a little early in the season to try a product such as this. I think they should have them reviewed later in the season when the flying pest is more of an issue.

Extremely pleased that Thermacell released refills for the these devices. it extends the use of our thermacell products long into the summer. My kids and I can enjoy playing outside in our extremely wooded yard without the nucssaince of mosquitoes!

I was tired of getting mosquito bites at our outside table so we decided to try this stuff and I've been extremely pleased. We can put it in the middle of our outside patio table and not get a single bite from any mosquitoes. We leave it on around 4 hours every night so these last us a really long time. I'm so happy that we tried this out because we are mosquito free.

April in the South can mean all kinds of weather! We've had a lot of rain lately, but we've also had lots of mosqitoes. April also means Turkey Season. Use these while in the woods waiting for a gobbler--you won't be disappointed.
