Q: Can I leave the probe in a turkey while submerged in hot oil around 320F? I'm deep frying a turkey for thanksgiving

A: Hello, Unfortunately, the probe of this device cannot be completely submerged in liquid or oil. This would be possible if you were able to set up the probe in a manner where only the half of the probe with the tip was inserted or submerged.

My husband was so excited to try this out and be able to keep tabs on multiple meats in the grill/smoker at the same time. It registered very accurately and has been a great addition to our summer grilling!

This is great for anyone that loves to smoke meat or just wants to make sure their bbq is fully done. It has temperature settings that will beep once the temperature you choose has been reached. Being able to program it four four different temps and times is super convenient.

I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Sometimes, when I’m barbecuing, I simply can’t figure out is the meat that I put on my small grill are ready or not. With this item, I can monitor the internal temperatures of multiple pieces of meat all at the same time, which makes it convenient and reassures me that I won’t be eating raw or undercooked chicken, which can give me salmonella. The courts are loaners and the temperature indicator are easy to read, especially under the hot sun. A good product for grilling!

This is a great digital meat probe for anyone who barbecues a lot, like we do. You can use it to monitor 4 meats at a time. It has 4 different probes that are color coated, each with its own display. It has an ambient temp range alarm that will alert you if temp falls below your set range. Love the magnetic backing to easily keep on a metal surface.
