A: Yes, but keep in mind obstructions will drastically reduce the range.

A: This will drain the batteries very quickly but here is the temperature range: -22.0 to 140.0°F (-30.0 to 60.0°C). It does have an alert feature.

A: No, you do not need to use Bluetooth. You can keep it disconnected from your phone if you prefer. It will still display the temperature and humidity.

Easy to set up; accurate; afforable.
If you both need a simple thermometer and hygrometer AND love tracking temperature and humidity fluctuations over a day, week, or even a year, this is for you. It was the simplest bluetooth pairing I ever did--probably because one's phone is just receiving the data, not trying to talk to the device. The refresh rate is much faster than some other combo units I have owned.

Notifications only show when app is open.
I like the Bluetooth but I hate how the notifications only appear after opening the app. I use it for my son’s room and I need to know when the room gets too hot or too cold the moment but I have to constantly open app to check.

Handy indoor temp thermometer. Weather is certainly important in northern climes, and this is useful for our porch space.. This offers some humidity information, but not so important in our climate.
This indoor digital thermometer is highly accurate and easy to read. We use it as an adjunct temperature gauge on our front porch, which is enclosed, but not heated or cooled. Handy. Bluetooth function also works well.

Helpful, easy to read display
This product has a large easy to read display, and seems to be very accurate. I use it in my office, and it is helpful because I do not have to go across the house to the thermostat to find out what the temperature is. The fact that the single necessary was included was a nice bonus.

Indoor/Outdoor Thermo
This is the neatest gadget. I love that it has a magnet attached so you can put it on your refrigerator and keep your countertops clean. I haven't read the manuel to figure out the point of bluetooth, but I imagine it is to see temperature from away from the house. It does come with a battery and no screws needed to insert it. If you don't have a magnetic refrigerator, this gadget can stand upright.

Quite a versatile Bluetooth gadget with both a stand and a magnetic back!
Terrific size! Is transportable and fits in my front pocket. I like that it's magnetic, too. A nice addition to my arsenal of gadgets. Thus far, the temperature has been synonymous with my large clock.
