It's impossible to get anything through the spout. My 10 month old was getting frusturated so I tried it myself and I couldn't get any water to come out.

We live this canteen sippy cup.
Personally, we love this and our 6 month old has figured it out just fine. It’s nice to not have a plastic sippy cup. Yes, it’s a little harder (but know more than a camelback) to clean, however it’s worth it to have something stay cold. Also all the cleaning instructions are in the box and self explanatory. Completely recommend this canteen.

No liquid coming out
You have to suck SO HARD for any drink to come through the spout. My baby got too frustrated and refuses to use it, so I tried and could barely get any milk out, either. I had to wash it before we could use it, so I can't even return it.
