  • A: The mat openings on all Target frames are much smaller than indicated, off by at least 1". There is supposed to be *some* overlap, but not nearly that much. Have to be recut or replaced.

Q: Can command strips be used instead of nails to hang this frame?

Q: I see that the saw tooth is not attached to the frame, but simply the backing. How is it fastened to the backing (glue only)? Curious, as I saw another post stating the entire frame fell off the wall and shattered.

  • A: Hi Melody, the sawtooth hangers have swaged rosettes which are metal inserts that gets pressed and expanded into the backing. Once swaged, the hangers are securely attached into the backing. Hopefully this helps, happy shopping!

    Don't ship frames!

    The frame is lovely but the glass was smashed on delivery. The frame was a part of a bogo 50%off. When I returned the frame in-store, I expected an even exchange but I was told I couldn’t. I had to repurchase a new frame at full price.

    not cut to correct size

    I bought these for specific 5x7 photos that had words around the edge. This matting is NOT 5x7 like advertised and did not fit my photos. See my attached photos in my review for measurement pictures. Also, one of the white mattes was dirty.(i bought 3 of these) I will be returning. Not even close to worth the $60 spend on 3 of them.

    Great for kid artwork!

    It’s hard to find a frame that will fit an elementary school kid’s art project on a large piece of construction paper. This frame really makes it look like a piece of art, especially with the matting. I bought this one a year ago. I’m only sad that the price is now eight bucks more and I desperately wish frame was in a color besides black. I wanted one for my daughter’s room, but her frames are made with the gold metal finish. The glare is bad because the teacher laminated the artwork. The photo with the two pictures shows the metal black frame in contrast with a different target wood frame.

    Shouldn't we all stop shopping at Target? They sent me a box of junk. Seriously, not even close to what I ordered. And they wouldn't refund me or send me the items I ordered until I returned the box of junk. So the trip to the store that I was avoiding by ordering online is now inevitable to get my money back. They have shipped me so many wrong orders in the past and so many broken items. Why do I keep shopping here? Target is not a good company. Why do we all shop here. There stuff is not that good.

    Not true to size

    It looks really nice but it is not really 11x14 inside the mat like it says. It’s more like 10.5x13.5, so it cuts off some of my picture. I will have to return it and find a frame that really is 11x14 inside the mat.

    Nice frame

    The frame was lovely. However, I ordered mine to be shipped and it arrived with broken glass. Back it went. I would not recommend having this item shipped. Target is not the best with providing adequate packing materials for more delicate products.

    Incompetent packers

    Genius packing job by employers who didn't give a care or are seriously challenged. This arrived in a box 4x its size with absolutely no padding or packing materials so entire glass frame was broken into a million pieces.

    Target is definitely reading these reviews. I ordered two of these frames. They arrived in separate boxes each one wrapped well in corregated paper tucked in between layers of air filled cushions. Both arrived pristine. The frames looked exactly as pictured with a cross hatched texture and corners that are nice and tidy; no gaps.
