It was thick and hearty while also being low calorie, so I felt like I was getting a good amount of food with little guilt. It was fresh and enjoyable out of the sealed bag even after it had been sitting in its box for a few weeks after I received it. My only gripe is that it still has that powdery gritty texture/taste that all protein bars seem to have. After the delicious chocolate and the airy crisp have all been chewed up, I’m left with the telltale aftertaste of protein, which I am not the biggest fan of. The milk came in handy at that point.
