About the Author
Benedict Andrews is one of the most sought after Australian theatre directors of his generation. He is known for his startling adaptations from the classical repertoire alongside plays by contemporary dramatists. His adaptations include a marathon production of Shakespeare's history plays, The Wars of the Roses (with Cate Blanchett), and a version of Chekhov's The Seagull. His play Every Breath premiered at Sydney's Belvoir Street in 2012.
