Additionally, you may add other grains like barley or multigrains, to your white rice. Its a mess
This little machine cannot handle its job. I’m making 1.5cups of rice and it’s making a mess. I’ve tried making oats and the mess is worse. In the end the rice is great, just not worth the mess

Worth Every Penny
First move to Flagstaff in 2014 and bought our first one. Our apartment has old electrical system and should have used a surge protector. It died in 2023. Hoping this 2nd one will last another 9 years or more.

This Tiger rice cooker didn’t meet our expectations (such a bummer) since this brand usually keeps up to its name. It made our rice smell bad and after a couple hours of “warm” it hardens the outer layer of cooked rice as well as a soggy middle! It basically made stinky yellow colored rice! Bought it twice just in case…no bueno!

Pretty good but no measuring cup
My rice cooker did not come with a measuring cup. I have made rice a couple of times by weighing the rice in grams per the rice cooker instructions. However, it is a real pain to have to weigh my rice every time. I wish this had come with a measuring cup as other rice cookers do.

I bought Tiger rice cooker because we eat rice everyday in our house. I was looking for “Japanese brand” because it’s just not the same when you use other brand. Easy to use and clean. I only cook white rice with this product but so far it does the job and our rice isn’t too watery. It looks cute sitting in our white color kitchen too. I wish it has a sound to let me know the rice is done.

Hands down, this is the best rice cooker out there. Don't even get those $200 rice cooker. This one works just as well and even better. Rice cooks quick and is delicious all the time. I have had mines for almost 8 yrs and it still works just like when I first got it. I highly recommend this rice cooker. Trust me, I am Asian and eat rice everyday.
