The cut of the bottom of this swimsuit was terrible. I returned due to my daughter’s entire bottom hanging out. Disappointed that Carters made a toddler swimsuit so cheeky.

8 month old is wearing 12 month size and it is too tight, hard to get on and off

This rash guard swimsuit is so adorable. My daughter picked it out herself and could not wait to put it on the first time. Every time she sees it, she looks forward to wearing it because of the cute design and comfort. It fits her well and is comfortable for swimming. She especially likes to zip it up herself too.

my grandaughter just turned 2. sent her a 2T. The torso was too long and the upperarms were too tight :(

I bought one of this swimsuit in 12M and 18M for my 50th percentile 8-month-old to grow into. This is my first child so I have no other kids' swimsuits to compare against yet, except the Cat & Jack sleeveless "value" one-piece that I also bought after discovering how hard it was to get my kid out of this suit at the end of indoor swim class (no need for the long sleeves there). Both of these seem to be sized long and narrow, like they were designed for a beanpole preschooler and didn't adjust the proportions for a baby/toddler body. The 12M was ok at first, but the sleeves really could have been shorter, and it didn't take long to become a real challenge to get on and next to impossible to remove after swimming. She's 10 months now and still 50th percentile for size, and we've just decided she has worn the 12M for the last time. I'm not at home so I don't know if the 18M will even work yet since the 12M was still a little too long in the body and the sleeves. I get that a swimsuit should be snug for safety, but if you're going to make it snug then it also really needs to have a good stretch.

Has a snap crotch that isn’t mentioned in the description. Often times that’s only in smaller sizes, but the 5t’s I ordered has them. My daughter doesn’t like the feel of the bulky snaps in her crotch. Will be returning the swimsuits. It’s a shame because they are really cute.

Ordered a 3T for my 27lb 16 month old (she’s normally size 18 month in most cat & Jack) and it was WAY too small. It also had very little stretch so it was a nightmare putting on and taking off. I would’ve probably had to get 5T and the arms would’ve been waaaay too long. Returning this one unfortunately

My favorite part is the snap at the bottom that makes it easy for my kids to go potty! Especially during potty training!

Great fit and great quality! The fabric has proven durable and doesn’t lose color or vibrancy, even after multiple washes. The quarter zip making getting the swimsuit on and off super easy too!

Love the coverage on her side and booty. As a small toddler when she was in swim diaper the longer side covered them.

Cute but runs very small. My daughter is 9 months and around 50% for height/weight and I’m questioning if the 18 month size will be too small in just a month or two.

I can’t say enough great things about these! The rash guard is the absolute best for kiddos with fair skin! I won’t take my kiddos out in the sun without them.

This suit runs small! My kid just turned 2, and wears clothing that is true to size, but based on other reviews I ordered a 3T. It was too small so I’ve reordered a 4T. Other than that, it’s a great suit. We bought the same one in different print last summer and it was great to have full coverage from the sun and easy diaper access.

TARGET PLEASE STOP PUTTING SNAPNS ON SIZE 3T and up!!!! Once out of swim diapers my girls will not wear ones with snaps. So uncomfy!

Super cute but runs small. Didn’t fit my 2 year girl. Had to returned it.

Super cute suit, but it has snap buttons on the bottom which doesn’t work well on a potty trained kid as they are uncomfortable and rides up. :(
