A: I just purchaed this and was disappointed to see the stiching is grey, not black, not brown, but grey. I'm returning it tomorrow.

submitted byKeacia - 4 years agoTarget staff supportA: A slip uno fitting basically rests where the light bulb screws in. It’s in the middle of the lampshade, not at the top, because of this. So a generic description of installation, from bottom to top, would be lamp base, lampshade, and then bulb. If you need a visual, google “types of lampshade fitters” and look at the images. There are some basic diagrams that are super helpful!

Even though the name states ‘toile stitch’ the material the shade is made of is smooth allowing it to be easily dusted. The background color is a cream color and the design is a light brown more of a basket color. It filters light easily and allows for a relaxing soft glow. Would definitely purchase again.
